Massive growth for air quality show

AQE 2013, the air quality and emissions show, has been heralded a phenomenal success by organisers, exhibitors, speakers and visitors. With air pollution concern running high, this event could not have been better timed, and succeeded in attracting three times the number of registered visitors than the previous event in 2011.
The health effects of air pollution including the number of premature deaths, particularly in urban areas, were the focus of much attention in the first day’s conference, with several speakers extolling the benefits of routine monitoring networks supplemented by low cost and portable monitors.
(See also our report "In the money.")
The second day of the conference addressed emissions monitoring and the requirements of the Industrial Emissions Directive, with speakers explaining the standards and procedures for producing accurate reliable data. Every conference session was packed and the workshops were so busy that visitors often had to jostle for position in the doorways.

Unsurprisingly, the AQE exhibitors and visitors have provided glowing recommendations for the event  and the AQE 2015 exhibition (22-23rd April) is already booking fast.
