High service distributer in Britain

Harting Ltd., the British arm of the Harting Technology Group and a major manufacturer of connectors for the electrical and electronics industries, has nominated Farnell Element 14 as High Service Distributor of the Year for 2011-12.

Doreen Sanderson, Harting Regional Account Manager; Robert Burnip, Farnell EMCO Supplier Account Manager; Peter Hannon, Harting Managing Director; Gareth James, Farnell Product Manager and Simon Asbury, Harting Sales Director.

In presenting the award, Peter Hannon, Managing Director of Harting Ltd., singled out Farnell’s success in increasing the growth of sales of key new product families such as the Han-Eco® rugged lightweight industrial connector and the har-flex®. Peter Hannon was delighted to present the award to Robert Burnip on behalf of Harting and expressed his thanks in particular to Gareth James and Andy Waller (not in the photo) for the speed of getting the new Harting products to market.
