Harting has introduced a new range of high-performance QSFP+ and SFP+ cable assemblies which can support data-transmission speeds of up to 40 Gbit/s.
In addition to standard cable assemblies with cable sizes from AWG 24 to AWG 30, the company offers customised solutions including units with EEPROM programming.
Secure strain relief is realised through overmoulding of the PCB, providing robust assemblies for use in IP 20 environments such as cabinets and control rooms. Another key feature of these products is the QSFP+ back shell, which is one of the shortest on the market, making the cable assembly ideally suited to applications where space is limited.
No additional assembly is required, saving time and money compared to the use of individual piece parts and their associated tooling, thus reducing field installation time.
All these cable assemblies meet the requirements of relevant international standards.
