Rene Aldana is the new Managing Director of Yokogawa Canada Inc. He will be reporting to Yokogawa Corporation America President Mr. Chester J. Mroz. In this position, Mr. Aldana will be responsible for overseeing all Yokogawa business operations in Canada. With his experience and reputation as a strong leader in the industrial automation industry, Yokogawa is well positioned to continue expanding its business in the Canadian market.
Mr. Aldana has close to 20 years of experience in automation solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he joined Valmet in Canada which later became Metso, Telvent and finally Schneider Electric where he held roles in Customer Service, Project Management and Regional Business Management. In 2008, Mr. Aldana completed an executive MBA and was later promoted to Vice President Oil and Gas International, responsible for sales, delivery and customer service, managing Schneider operations in Europe, Latin America, UAE and China.

I believe that his experience, industry knowledge, understanding of the Canadian market, as well as his capable leadership, will expand our business in Canada by providing project execution and customer services excellence.”
Rene holds a B.S. in Computer Sciences from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada and a Master of Business Administration from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain.
