Ten new IP protected models in its GigE camera series have been developed by Baumer for particularly demanding industrial environments. With the IP 65 and IP 67 protective housing, every sensitive camera component, all the way to the lens, is protected from dust, water spray and temporary immersion.
The cameras have an x-coded M12 connector that ensures a reliable connection to the data interface. Designed for industrial uses, they can be powered by a 12 to 24 volt or Power over Ethernet (PoE) supply.
The new VisiLine IP cameras have CCD or CMOS sensors and are now available in VGA, 1.3, 2 and 4 megapixel resolutions. They achieve frame rates up to 160 fps. Production-integrated color comparison ensures virtually identical color reproduction by every camera in a model series. This greatly simplifies applications with multiple cameras operating simultaneously. In addition, the CMOS cameras feature FPN (Fixed Pattern Noise) correction and HDR (High Dynamic Range). This eliminates sensor-related structural irregularities and enables acquisition of images with wide differences in scene brightness.
