High pressure reducing regulator!

The new high-capacity, pressure reducing Tartarini DN 250 (10") Type FL regulator has been released by Emerson Process Management. The DN 250 Type FL is a pilot-operated regulator that is well suited for high-pressure drop applications such as city gate stations, power plant fuel supply and turbine fuel supply. The SRII noise attenuation option can reduce noise levels as much as 20 dB (A) depending on flows and pressure drop. The FL can also be configured to be used as a relief valve or backpressure regulator.

This regulator complements Emerson’s current family of DN 25, 50, 80, 100, 150 and 200 (1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8-inch) size FL regulators. It handles higher capacities while providing all of the benefits of the other FL sizes, such as true no-bleed design, easy start-up, noise attenuation options, balanced trim design, bubble-tight shut off, 103 bar (1480 psig) inlet/outlet rating, control accuracy and modular design. The Type FL is easy to maintain due to the low number of parts.
