New SCADA/HMI videos give users direct online access to training
InduSoft has announced its new online video training series for its upcoming InduSoft Web Studio 7.1 HMI/SCADA software. The video training site currently offers two training modules that provide instruction on subjects ranging from alarms to trends.
Although the company will continue its on-site training programs, the free online video training will enable users who cannot participate in on-site training to access InduSoft Web Studio instruction modules at their convenience. The training modules can be viewed via a streaming format or downloaded.
“We want to help more of our users get the best results for their projects, so we’re in the process of making our entire training course available online,” says Marcia Gadbois, vice president of business development, InduSoft.
The first module provides users instruction on installation, tags, drivers and screen groups. It is formatted in nine parts to help users easily find the area in which they need help. The second module covers in-depth instruction for active objects, animations, trends and alarms. Like the first module, it is also offers different topic segments for easy navigation.
The videos can be streamed or downloaded with iPads and Android tablets that have flash or MP4 support, and new training modules are being added on an ongoing basis.
