Key improvements in the area of security and infrastructure

Invensys Operations Management has released version 4.2 of its Wonderware IntelaTrac mobile workforce and decision support system. The newest version addresses security and infrastructure functionality to support users’ IT requirements.

Now all IntelaTrac system management applications are launched and contained within the IntelaTrac Management Center (IMC). This new security functionality also enables the use of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and “single sign on” capability. Users will also be able to upgrade to full 64-bit operating systems and, based on customer demand, IntelaTrac 4.2 will provide the capability to use images as a part of data collection capabilities. With IntelaTrac 4.2, mobile
users can capture an image as a ‘Note’ and it will appear in Auditor Plus.
