Enterprise integration software ensures operations-focused business continuity

The new version of its Wonderware Enterprise Integrator software, built on the Invensys ArchestrA System Platform 2012 supports the latest operating systems and technology, including Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and new versions of Internet Explorer for its web-based user interface.

Product overview:
Wonderware Enterprise Integrator offers powerful site-to-enterprise integration capabilities. It links several of the company’s ArchestrA System Platform-based applications (Wonderware MES Software, InBatch and Intelligence), as well as other third-party software applications, with ERP, PLM, SCM, LIMS or other enterprise systems. The software facilitates automatic exchange and transformation of production-related data. It helps to manage abnormal situations, including interrupted connections or loss of data, using automatic store and forward, and allows manual operator intervention to resend or adjust transactions based on a full detailed message history. The software removes point-to-point application integration, leveraging a flexible, reusable, standards-based integration methodology to support corporate standards, reduce IT burden and maintain uptime and productivity.

Key capabilities:
• Reliable message transportation and persistence;
• Message store and forward, history and contingency;
• Extensibility to adopt project-specific functionality, such as system connectivity, message transformation and translation;
• Supports B2MML message definitions based upon ISA-S95 standards;
• Configuration, administration, status monitoring and manual operator intervention via a secure web-based user interface menu.
