In February this year it was 25 years since the CAN protocol was presented for the first time to the public at the SAE conference in Detroit.
On March 5, 2012 the CAN in Automation (CiA) international users’ and manufacturers’ group is to celebrate its 20th anniversary with an evening reception at the Hambach castle in Germany, where also the 13th international CAN Conference (iCC) will take place.
They are calling for papers for the 13th international CAN Conference (iCC), which will take place at the Hambach castle in Neustadt an der Weinstraße (D) on March 5 and 6, 2012.
Experts from all over the world and from most diversified application areas have met for years at this international event. The conference is unique in its target group and offers visitors the possibility to become acquainted with the latest developments in Controller Area Network (CAN). It offers also the occasion for lecturing on CAN-based research and for exchanging experience with international experts from related work fields.
All papers are presented in English language. CAN in Automation invites all interested persons to submit an abstract for the conference before September 23, 2011.
A tabletop exhibition will accompany the conference. Experts and exhibitors meet here in a relaxed environment.
