MadgeTech has released the EggTemp data logger. The new data logger is designed to thermally respond to temperature effects the same way a real egg does, making it ideal for monitoring eggs during shipping, storage, pasteurization or incubation.
This durable device can measure and record up to 60°C and has a user replaceable battery that typically lasts up to 1 year. The EggTemp is water tight and can be completely submerged for monitoring pasteurization cycles. The HDPE, food grade plastic enclosure can easily be cleaned for sanitation and requires minimal maintenance.
MadgeTech’s data logger software offers an easy way to analyze data. Data can be viewed in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and in graphical, or tabular data formats. Statistics, including pasteurization units, are automatically calculated in the summary view. For further analysis, data can also be exported to Excel®.
