Following successful trials with a final effluent monitor, engineers at Intellitect Water are developing a new version of the company's tiny multiparameter water quality monitor, the Intellisonde™ that will float on rivers, lakes and reservoirs, providing continuous water quality monitoring data.
The new monitor will be unveiled at WWEM 2010, the Water, Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring event being held in Telford in England in November.
Intellitect Water Chief Executive, Tony Halker, says, "The new floating monitor is a logical extension to the Intellisonde™ range, which includes a number of in-pipe versions and a final effluent model. The new floating monitor will be battery powered and provide long periods of unattended monitoring."
Intellitect's technology will be on display at stand 71 during WWEM and the company will run a Workshop entitled 'Final Effluent Monitoring in Real-Time' at 12 noon in Workshop room 4 on Wednesday 10th November 2010.
