Innovation in water monitoring shortlisted.

OTT HydroMet’s XLink datalogger has been shortlisted for the WWEM 2024 ‘Most Innovative Water Monitoring Solution’ award.

XLink is a unique Wi-Fi enabled datalogger with two-way communications capability via IRIDIUM® or Cellular technology. Designed specifically for environmental monitoring, XLink is sensor agnostic, accepting SDI12, RS485 and 4-20mA inputs, and capable of transmitting up to 32 independent measurements. This means that the XLink can log and transmit remote monitoring data for parameters such as water level and flow, water quality, air quality, and meteorological parameters such as wind, precipitation and solar radiation.

Wireless datalogger for remote access applications.

The OPTIBRIDGE 3880 IIoT data logger for remote data services, acquisition and evaluation has been introduced by Krohne. It is a fully autonomous, battery or mains powered wireless communication system for remote access to measurement data, aimed at the water & wastewater industry.

Using mobile communication via 2G, 3G and 4G, OPTIBRIDGE 3880 offers a wide range of remote data management options – from simple data logging to internet connectivity and storage for maintenance, process visualisation and data evaluation. It is thus also designed for advanced applications with IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) requirements, offering flexible and modular solutions for data acquisition and analysis in smart networks.

Using integration software supplied by KROHNE (OPTIBRIDGE 3880 Connector), data can also be integrated into any SCADA or other software system by using industry standard protocols like e.g. OPC UA, CSV, etc. The customer has full control over their data as it is hosted on their own local server and send with end-to-end encryption. Accurately measure and log dew point data.

The Extech RH600 Dew Point Meter for accurate and fast dew point temperature measurement primarily positioned to prevent problems associated with water vapor in compressed air systems has been announced by Teledyne Flir.

As part of a predictive maintenance program in manufacturing environments, the Extech RH600 provides measurement down to -50°C (-58°F) with an accuracy of ±2 °C (±3.6 °F) over the entire range pressure, up to 20 bar. The instrument is ideal for monitoring dew point across long periods of time, including for monitoring switch behavior within the drying process and better optimizing energy consumption.

“For inspectors who require the convenience and freedom to inspect multiple positions within a compressed air system, the Extech RH600 provides the ideal form factor at a competitive price to capture accurate readings and then data log that information as part of an integrated predictive maintenance program,” said Rob Milner, director of business development, Teledyne FLIR. “The Extech RH600 is also optimal for low-humidity measurement with high accuracy, but should the sensor get wet, it can withstand the condensation and fully recover for future use.”

The included RH601 dew point probe provides accuracy and long-term stability. Users can directly insert the probe sensor into the compressed air system through a G half-inch thread, ensuring reliable readings with increased peace of mind, knowing the probe will dry quickly after moisture contact. The highly sensitive probe provides inspectors the ability to measure relative humidity at less than 5 percent and with high accuracy (±0.025 percent).

Data Logging for Predictive Maintenance.
Users can easily monitor dew point on the built-in color graphical display with a menu-based user interface. They can program high/low set points for temperature as well as relatively humidity and dew point with visual and audible alarms. The device also enables logging and transferring up to 32,000 datasets to a PC in CVS format via a USB cable connection. The easy data transfer provides inspectors all key datapoints to create inspection reports for colleagues and clients, as well as to integrate the data into broader predictive maintenance initiatives that consolidate and analyze data across multiple inspection types and equipment.

The Extech RH600 consists of the RH601 dew point probe, AC adapter, micro-USB-to-USB-A cable, a 3.7 V Li-ion battery, and a hard case for storage.

Furnace tracking systems.

The new thermal profiling solutions feature new sealed quench thermal barriers and IP67 rated data logger.

The Datapaq Furnace Tracker System is designed to be used repeatedly, in-process in the most hostile manufacturing environments, providing accurate and reliable through-process temperature surveys. Each system can help users improve process performance, decrease downtime, reduce temperature uniformity survey (TUS) reporting times and more.

The first component of the system is the Datapaq® TP6 Data Logger, which can withstand the longest, most-demanding operating conditions. The Datapaq TP6 features a 316-grade, stainless-steel case and a IP67 rating, making it water resistant. This datalogger is available with either 10 or 20 thermocouple inputs and can be specified for use with base or noble metal thermocouples.

The latest thermal barrier models are ideal for high-temperature heat treat processes and have been designed to provide maximum thermal protection – including applications such as vacuum and controlled atmosphere, slab reheat and solution aging, among others. Water management - fantastic opportunity.

In this article Nigel Grimsley from OTT HydroMet explains why Big Data in the water sector represents a fantastic opportunity.


Water security can be defined as the availability of a sufficient quantity and quality of water to sustain livelihoods, health, socio-economic development and ecosystems. To achieve this goal, water managers need timely access to reliable, insightful, defensible data, but with the volume and speed of data now available, will existing data infrastructure be able to cope?

Recent developments in sensors, dataloggers and telemetry, have delivered intelligent monitoring systems that are able to operate remotely, running on very low levels of power and delivering reliable data in real-time. This has prompted dramatic growth in the implementation of high-intensity monitoring systems that generate enormous volumes of data. These systems also possess advanced alarm capability; issuing alert messages by SMS, email etc. when pre-set conditions arise.

Water management policies must be sustainable and resilient, so it is vital that both strategic and operational decisions are based on sound data. However, if data are not managed correctly, users may become ‘data-rich but information-poor’, so some of the most important decisions in the organisation of a monitoring programme relate to the ways in which data will be managed.

Working at every stage of the data collection process, OTT HydroMet has developed sensors that can operate remotely for extended periods; loggers that run on very low power but provide enormous data processing capability; telemetry solutions to transmit data from and to anywhere, and software that can assimilate vast quantities of data. Flood protection in Scotland!

In recent years the development of flood warning systems has benefited from advances in sensor, datalogger and communications technology. The expansion of mobile telecommunications has meant that more locations now benefit from increased coverage, so that water level and meteorological monitoring systems can now be installed in remote locations. 

"In the past, data would have to be collected manually," explains Robin Guy from OTT Hydromet. "However, this is both time consuming and costly, so modern systems employ telemetry to communicate with remote stations to lower costs and dramatically improve the speed and value of data.

"The most recent advance in remote communications has been the development of low-power, datalogging, satellite transmitters which are able to transmit sensor data from almost any location on earth. In the early days, satellite transmission of data was prohibitively expensive, but costs have lowered considerably; to the point where satellite telemetry competes directly with cellular communications."

Scotland's water is famed worldwide, and performs vital roles both in tourism and in the production and branding of some of the country's greatest exports. Water resources are monitored closely by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) to inform water management and to protect the environment; by detecting trends from climate change for example. Part of this monitoring activity is undertaken to provide a free advance flood warning service known as Floodline. This is a 24/7 telephone and website service providing advance notice of flooding, with advice on how to be prepared. 

Floodline provides regional flood alerts which cover a wide geographic area and provide an early indication of potential flooding. This raises awareness and enables the public and emergency response services to prepare for possible flooding. Floodline also issues flood warnings for specific smaller areas where messages can be issued for local communities.

SEPA's Flood forecasting and warning relies on a network of water level and precipitation monitors, some of which are located in remote areas of catchments, where the communications infrastructure can be less reliable. The SatLink3, a combined datalogger and satellite transmitter, was therefore trialled at a site in Boat of Garten, near Aviemore. The logger is SDI12 compatible, and an OTT PLS sensor was used to monitor water levels and temperature, in addition to a raingauge and an air temperature sensor.

The SatLink3 is also Wi-Fi enabled which means that users are able to wirelessly set up and download the logger/transmitter with Android, iPhone or Windows devices. This also means that field staff can connect with the logger wirelessly from the comfort and safety of their vehicle - in any weather.

In the same way as a fee is payable for data transmission via mobile networks, many operators of satellite transmitters pay a small fee to transmit data via satellite. However, public organisations transmitting environmental data are able to use the EUMETSAT service free of charge. This provides reliable and consistent one way transmission of data, and it is also possible to implement 2-way communications using the paid-for Iridium satellite service.

Following 2 months of successful operation in Aviemore, the monitoring and satellite communications equipment was transferred to a site near Aberfoyle to serve as part of a flood warning system for a period of 2 months. It was also deployed near Charr in Aberdeenshire at a primary flood warning station for a further 2 months because mobile communications at this location had been hindered by a new wind farm. After the success of the trials the latter 2 locations have since had agreement to install permanent SatLink3 dataloggers.

At each of the trial locations, data were transmitted every 15 minutes, and whilst 2-way communications were not available, the logger could be set to respond to certain conditions - to log at a faster rate for example. No maintenance issues occurred during the evaluation and as a result, around 20 new monitoring stations will be installed with satellite telemetry during 2020.

Commenting on the expansion of remote monitoring, Robin Guy says: "There are obvious cost advantages to be gained by collecting data remotely, but the effectiveness of flood prediction is greatly enhanced by the ability to gather timely data continuously from remote monitoring stations. This enables organisations such as SEPA to monitor at locations which are ideal for informing flood prediction models and warning systems.

"Advanced satellite telemetry is just one of the ways in which remote monitoring is enhanced; the latest sensors and loggers operate on very low power, with extended periods between service and calibration. Most sites can therefore operate from solar power and the necessity for site visits is dramatically reduced.

"The quality and reliability of cellular communications can vary in remote locations - often because the signal is reliant on a single mast. So, when a local mast has a problem or is out of service, the signal will be lost. Satellite telemetry has proved to be extremely reliable and is therefore becoming a useful tool in many locations; helping to improve the reliability and resilience of monitoring networks."

Performance evaluation.

The GX90XA-10-V1 module enables Yokogawa recorders and data loggers to be used in performance evaluation tests for the development and production of electric vehicles (EVs), fuel-cell vehicles (FCVs), and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHVs) as well as the on-board batteries used in such vehicles. Such tests typically require the measurement of multiple channels under high-voltage conditions.
Recorders and data acquisition systems (data loggers) are used on production lines and at product development facilities to acquire, display, and record data on temperature, voltage, current, flow rate, pressure, and other variables. Yokogawa, a world-leading manufacturer of recorders, offers recorders and data acquisition system solutions for the collection and control of data as part of its OpreX Data Acquisition lineup. To meet market needs and comply with industry-specific requirements and standards, the company continues to add new I/O modules with enhanced functionality to this lineup.

For the development and production of EVs, FCVs, PHVs, and on-board vehicle batteries, performance evaluation tests involving the measurement of voltage levels in multiple battery cells must be performed. The batteries used in such vehicles can have hundreds of interconnected cells, and the voltage levels at all these points must be measured simultaneously. The test devices that are used must be capable of withstanding voltages of several hundred volts (high common mode voltage) that are typically applied between the measuring terminal and the ground. The high-voltage analog input module developed by Yokogawa allows the measurement of multiple channels under high-voltage conditions and is thus well suited for the development and production of rechargeable batteries as well as vehicles that use those batteries.


The GX90XA-10-V1 analog input module can be mounted on the following OpreX Data Acquisition products: GX series touchscreen paperless recorders, GP series portable paperless recorders, and GM10 scalable modular data loggers.

1. High voltage, multiple channels
The GX90XA-10-V1 has two layers of insulation and can withstand a common mode voltage of up to 600 V ACrms or 600 V DC, and is capable of sampling data at intervals as short as 100 ms. With the GX and GP series recorders, the module can accept up to 450 inputs; with the GM10 data loggers it can accept up to 420. With capabilities such as these, the GX90XA-10-V1 is ideal for use in tests on production lines and at development facilities that evaluate the performance of vehicle batteries with multiple channels and under high-voltage conditions. The module is also ideal for evaluating the high voltage levels used in the electrolysis process in electrolysis tanks.

2. Open network
The GX and GP series recorders and the GM10 data loggers are all compatible with the Ethernet LAN standard and the Modbus communications protocol, which are both widely used in industrial networks, and thus can connect and communicate with upper-level control systems and third-party products. When the GX90XA-10-V1 is mounted on a GX or GP series recorder or on a GM10 data logger, voltage measurement data can be monitored from a host system, and the collected data can be uploaded to a database for sharing.

Temperature & Humidity Data Loggers.

Teracom Ltd. has announced the availability of highly reliable (3-year warranty), affordable and easy to set up and use TCW210-TH data loggers for remote temperature and humidity monitoring applications.

Each TCW210-TH can monitor up to 8 temperature and/or temperature-humidity sensors of various brands and types (up to 24 different parameters each) via either 1-Wire interface and/or the more robust MODBUS RTU over RS485. For example, 4 sensors can connect via MODBUS and another four can connect via 1-Wire, all at the same time.

“Our new TCW210-TH data logger device has a very intuitive setup process and is so easy to configure that most customers will never need to open up the manual,” says Ognyan Dimitrov, CEO of Teracom. “The humidity and temperature records can be monitored on the WEB interface of the device. There is no need for special software and conversions – you only need a standard web browser like Chrome, IE or Firefox.”

Utilizing an Ethernet interface for web and network connectivity, the device monitors real time data for temperature, humidity and dew point, and records all monitored parameters using internal FLASH memory. The records can be made on set time intervals and/or on alarm conditions. The capacity of memory allows at least 36 days logged with data recorded once every minute. The log file can be periodically uploaded on a dedicated server by HTTP Post.

The device is supported by Android and iOS applications, as well as by Teracom’s remote and monitoring software TC Monitor, which provides a free license for up to 10 items.

The logger utilizes a circular buffer in FLASH memory (up to 70,000 records). When it is full, the new data overwrites the oldest one. In this manner FLASH memory can store a full log all the time. For security reasons, there is not a command to clear the log. A copy of the full log is always available for download.

The TCW210-TH can initiate a connection (HTTP Post) to remote dedicated servers. The payload of this post are XML or JSON files. Standard protocols as SNMP, MODBUS TCP/IP, and HTTP API are also available for M2M applications. TCW210-TH also supports communication with ThingSpeak servers. Four different parameters (channels) can be processed simultaneously.

Ethernet datalogger.

TCW220, manufactured by Teracom and marketed in the USA by Paralan has two analog inputs with 10-bit resolution and two discrete inputs. It supports a 1-Wire interface for up to eight Teracom 1-Wire sensors – carbon dioxide, 0/20mA, AC/DC current, temperature, humidity, etc.

All monitored parameters can be logged on previous set time intervals and/or on alarm conditions. The memory is large enough for at least 36 days with records recorded every minute, up to 70,000 records. The log file can be periodically uploaded on a dedicated server using HTTP Post.


The relays can be activated either remotely (WEB, SNMP, HTTP, MODBUS TCP/IP, etc.) or locally – providing status of monitored parameters. For every parameter, email and SNMP trap can be sent to up to five recipients. Alarm alerts also can be sent by HTTP Post with XML/JSON status files.

Accurate energy consumption data.

The Tinytag Energy Logger is a portable, non-invasive and easy to use device for recording single and three phase power usage. It can be a useful tool in helping organisations monitor energy consumption in line with ESOS, ISO 50001, and other energy management requirements.

It can be used to monitor individual equipment and to build consumption profiles. Analysis of readings helps identify times of peak load and power hungry or inefficient equipment, monitors electrical distribution, provides sub-metering information, and helps identify and assess the performance of energy saving initiatives.

Data recorded by the Energy Logger is downloaded to a PC, where it is presented initially in graphs and tables in the Tinytag Explorer Software. It can easily be exported to popular software packages and results from separate logging runs can be combined for comparison and analysis.

Automatic data collection using Ethernet connectivity!

Gemini Data Loggers has announced its new Plus LAN data loggers. Plus LAN loggers collect data automatically: they plug into a network point and send data directly for viewing in the Tinytag Explorer Connect software – an easy to use Windows program – by any permitted user on a network.

They monitor across multiple locations with the data viewed at the convenience of the user’s own desk. Loggers in the range record temperature, relative humidity, and also low voltage, current and count inputs, making them ideal for use with third party sensors to record properties such as pressure, flow rates and footfall. A choice of accompanying thermistor, PT100 and PT1000 probes means they are suitable for specific monitoring applications.

Plus LAN loggers can be mixed and matched with existing Tinytag Radio indoor and outdoor data loggers within a system to meet particular site layout and infrastructure requirements. They are ideal for applications where radio signals may be problematic due to network range or physical obstructions. For example, LAN loggers can be used in metal-lined walk in fridges/freezers, or where a remote monitoring point is required outside the range of an existing Radio System, wherever a convenient network point is available.
Plus LAN loggers are powered through their LAN connection using a plug-in Power over Ethernet (PoE) adaptor and have battery back-up for reliability if this should fail. As with the Radio loggers, LAN loggers will keep recording locally in the event of communications problems, and will transmit their data once the connection is restored. Portable data logger.

The Model 9330 high speed, portable data logger and digital display has been launched by Interface Force Measurements.  Packed full of useful features, this new stand- alone unit offers the option of high speed data capture away from mains power, ideal for use in remote locations.

Automated temp monitoring!

Testo has supplied its latest temperature and humidity data logging system, Saveris 2, to Stansted Laboratories’ facility in Barking (GB).

Stansted Laboratories is a highly successful UKAS accredited laboratory of 20 staff analysing over 50,000 samples a year in a purpose built facility. It specialises in microbiological analysis of water and air, with its main income derived from Legionella testing of water and drinking water bacteriological analysis.

Maintaining precise temperatures within its devices - incubators, fridges, freezers and water baths – and cold room is essential to ensure accuracy and for compliance with UKAS’ stringent requirements, as is maintaining a detailed record. Stansted Laboratories had been monitoring and recording equipment temperatures manually, but as the company grew this became a time consuming, labour intensive activity.

Following a site visit, Testo recommended its Saveris 2 system, a highly cost-effective, flexible temperature and humidity data logging solution specifically for small to medium sized applications, which still provides the accuracy and reliability of its larger ‘parent’ system, Saveris 1.

15 Saveris 2 wireless temperature data loggers are now in use at Stansted Laboratories. The majority of the loggers are T2 which are being used to monitor temperatures in fridges, fridge freezers and incubators from -25°C to + 50°C, with T3 loggers with specialist flexible probes used for the 50°C water baths and a T1 logger with internal NTC temperature sensor in the cold room. The T2 data loggers are being used with a Testo Penetration probe NTC with ribbon cable (2 metre length) which is exceptionally flat allowing it to be pushed through narrow openings, such as the door seal of the fridges and incubators without impacting the performance of those units.

The measured temperature values from all the data loggers are automatically recorded by the Saveris 2 system and sent directly over a wireless LAN to the Testo cloud (online storage), requiring no manual intervention. The information is formatted into an easy to read graphic based report for each data logger and available as a pdf or csv file which can be emailed daily, weekly or monthly. Stansted Laboratories has opted for a daily report. Furthermore, authorised personnel can access data logger information at any time and from any location with an internet-enabled smartphone, tablet or PC, for maximum convenience.

For Stansted Laboratories, a key benefit of the Saveris 2 system is the automation. Anu Tavarasa, Laboratory Manager explains: “we were doing the readings manually, which took us half hour in the morning and another half hour in the afternoon. We wanted to automate this to save time. We tried several data loggers but they didn’t work for us as they were taking a long time to download. The Testo system is very fast. Not only has it freed up an hour every day for us to do analysis, but it’s very user friendly. I like the way we can look at the data online whenever we want; we do this regularly – three times a day at least. The alerts are also very useful, which come direct to the lab.” Saveris 2 provides free email alerts, plus up to 25 free SMS alerts a year (per logger), with alert parameters configured by the customer.

Whilst accuracy is clearly essential, for Stansted Laboratories the ease of use and flexibility of Saveris 2 has been a winning combination. The entire system is automated, needs no maintenance except for yearly recalibration (as standard with all test and measurement equipment), staff do not require training, and is both easily expandable and simple to install; so much so that when Stansted Laboratories recently expanded into adjacent premises, staff simply picked up the data loggers and moved them with the equipment without any need for Testo’s assistance.

Delphin Technology has extended its Expert Logger range with the new type 400 model equipped with an OPC UA Client/Server interface. This enhancement to the independently functioning data logger system ideally equips it for the universal exchange of measurement data at field level and for the requirements of Industry 4.0. The Expert Logger device is also equipped with ProfiBus, ModBus, CAN-Bus and serial interfaces. PCs are connected via USB, LAN, WLAN and LTE.

The new type 400 is equipped with 16 universally usable, differential analog inputs for measuring mV and mA signals or any type of thermocouple. 24-bit precision and a maximum rate of 1000 measurements per second meets the highest demands required from a data logger. The new Expert Logger also has the option of measuring Pt100(0) sensors using 2, 3 or 4 wire technology or DMS. The device has a total of 24 switchable digital inputs/outputs which can record edge and fault events at microsecond precision as well as output alerts. A total of 6 analog outputs enable the operation of regulating and control elements.

The Expert Logger series offer a range of model types with 16 to 46 analog inputs which are ideal for independent data acquisition and test bench automation. Monitoring functions can also be performed independently within the device. Measurement data and threshold violations can be immediately transmitted to subsystems via OPC UA. The OPC UA interface also offers data exchange to PLC systems and connecting to PLT systems.

Furthermore, the ProfiSignal Go software – for portraying and analysing measurement data online and offline – remains a fixed element of every Expert Logger device.

Operators can create log entries, manage tasks, and collaborate directly.

Emerson Process Management’s Logbooks, an electronic database of operator log entries, can now be embedded in the DeltaV distributed control system interface to improve task management and enable more effective shift handovers with real-time visibility to active entries. Users can access Logbooks directly from their DeltaV workstations to view shift-based dashboards that highlight relevant log entries for the operations team.

“Emerson is committed to making the daily life of plant operators easier,” said Claudio Fayad, director DeltaV platform management, Emerson Process Management. “By integrating electronic logbooks in the control system and automating creation of log entries, we can help operators not only gain a knowledge base of events, but also improve event response”

Task management with Logbooks helps operators respond more quickly to high priority tasks. With event monitoring, logbook entries are automatically created from DeltaV events. These entries can then trigger additional tasks in the system or flag issues to raise attention. The shift dashboard displays task status and existing flags to ensure necessary work is not missed.

Operators can easily identify their priority tasks with Logbooks with a customised dashboard for each user. Relevant log entries and assigned tasks are displayed and responsibilities are clearly defined for the operator. Communication between operators and managers is streamlined and operators can more effectively plan and prioritise work. The task-based actions make work planning, comment capture, and report generation easy.

Up to 8 digital inputs/outputs and one SDI12 interface are also available depending on the version. The main areas of application include product testing, environmental measurement technology, laboratory data acquisition, research and development, and trials and testing.

All analog inputs are galvanically isolated from each other. A 24-bit A/D converter ensures fast, precision sampling rates of up to 50 measurements per second per channel. The devices are maintenance and noise free due to the absence of electromechanical components (such as relays) that are prone to wear and tear.

All Expert Loggers are equipped with internal 4 GB memories that can independently store up to 100 million measurement values with date and time stamps. Storage capacity can be extended as required via external USB or LAN storage (NAS). 20-channel temperature logger.

The new DATAPAQ® TP3 data logger provides more measurement channels, connectivity options, and ease of use for profiling and surveying in high-temperature heat treatment applications. With a ±0.3 °C (0.5 °F) accuracy, the all-new logger surpasses the most stringent requirements.

"Compared to our previous, successful heat treatment solution TPAQ21, the new DATAPAQ TP3 provides even more detailed insight into high-temperature processes. The new series comprises 20- and 10-channel loggers that store up to 3.6 million data points. One logger can perform up to ten measurement runs before data download. Thermal and ingress protection have been enhanced to ensure optimal performance in extreme applications, such as vacuum brazing, aluminum solution reheat, and water or gas quench. The DATAPAQ TP3 logger is being released along with new, durable thermal barriers for use with the industry-specific temperature profiling systems from Datapaq: Furnace Tracker® for metal-working, Kiln Tracker® for ceramics, and Oven Tracker® AutoPaq® for premium paint cure processes in the automotive OEM assembly market. Free data logging and monitoring software.

Mantracourt has announced that it will be now be providing its acclaimed T24LOG100 data logging software free of charge with every purchase of products within its T24 wireless sensor range.

The T24LOG100 software allows the user to view and log up to 100 channels of wireless instrumentation data simultaneously, whilst also offering a range of sophisticated maths functions that will enable engineers to optimise system monitoring and control software.

“The T24LOG100 package has been developed in house, and provides a reliable and accurate solution for the collection of data,” said Kelly Voysey, Marketing Manager at Mantracourt. “This new version has had a makeover in terms of the graphical interface, but it very much retains the intuitive nature of the previous version, and the many intelligent functions and features of the original version.”
Using the T24LOG100, the user is able to display a sensor value in a resizable window and channels can be setup with user-defined algorithms that can be used to calculate a multitude of maths functions. Visual displays and noise indicator alarms can also be set to indicate under and over range, as well as loss in communications. The T24LOG100 can log at a user-defined rate, on demand, on entering and leaving a pre-set overload and during an overload. The data collected is generated in a CSV format, enabling external analysis.

“The T24 wireless instrument range has enjoyed amazing success on a worldwide basis, and the T24LOG100 software has played an important role in this success,” said Kelly Voysey. “We are also able to supply a version of the T24LOG100 software that carries bespoke branding such as company colours, logo etc. However, there will be a charge for this version.”

The T24 wireless telemetry system enables the user to transmit data from sensors such as load cells, temperature, pressure, voltage, current and displacement devices to a wide range of T24 receivers, which provide both analogue and digital outputs. The T24 system allows the user to overcome the limitations of cable systems.
