These gateways join our PLX30 family of gateways, which also includes the EtherNet/IPTM to PROFINET Device Gateway. That gateway can be used in a variety of applications, including those involving PLC-to-PLC interlocking, a SCADA interface or data concentration. Our EtherNet/IPTM driver supports multiple I/O connections offering you fast, consistent data delivery and the ability to prioritize data transfers by setting different update rates for control and diagnostic data. This allows you to send low-priority data at slower rates.
All five gateways enable high-speed bi-directional data transfers, supporting 1440 bytes in and 1440 bytes out. Those gateways are available as masters or slaves and support up to 100 commands. The serial gateways also feature a built-in Data Analyzer, allowing for improved troubleshooting. The gateways support up to 10 clients and 10 servers. The gateways can be used in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C. The gateways support disaster recovery through an SD card, allowing for configuration recovery if an issue arises.
