Rittal Limited and HEITEC AG announce a strengthening of their already close partnership for the British market. Over the past three years HEITEC have progressively appropriated (from Rittal GmbH) responsibility for the design, production and packaging of all standard and customer configured electronic solutions. These electronic packaging solutions retain their Rittal part numbers and custo-mers can now enjoy increased flexibility and configuration options due to the closer direct links between Rittal in Britain and HEITEC.
Sales Director for Rittal Limited Ian Clarke said: "We are confident that with the additional support from HEITEC coupled with a focus to add value, remove cost and save valuable sourcing and assembly costs, there are plenty of applications and opportunities for Rittal to be considered as a very strong supplier for all electronic packaging requirements.
Alongside the partnership with HEITEC and combined with Rittal’s dedicated UK subcontractor for front-panel engineering and low volume assemblies, Rittal is better positioned to service the demanding and varied needs of our customers."
Besides “classic” electronic housing systems, the 2013 product portfolio includes subracks, subrack components and accessories as well as desktop housings. Furthermore, Rittal will continue to offer special items and customer specific housings and systems.
HEITEC operates its’ electronic housing business from their factory located in Germany, which was acquired by HEITEC from Rittal GmbH in 2011. Besides the production of electronics, boards and systems, the company will continue to develop and optimise its industrial housing and system technology portfolio in the future.
