New Supplier Development Manager

Anglia Components has appointed Iain Taylor to the new role of Supplier Development Manager to co-ordinate the integration of new franchises into Anglia’s rapidly expanding portfolio.

With responsibility for establishing and maintaining new and existing supplier’s product ranges, Iain Taylor will work closely with David Pearson, Technical Director of Anglia components. Welcoming him to the Anglia team, Steve Rawlins, CEO said, “Anglia is growing its franchise base very quickly, and we recognise that we need to accomplish this whilst continuing to provide a great experience for suppliers and customers alike. Iain’s role will be to put in place processes to ensure that this growth takes place in a structured context. His pedigree in the industry is outstanding. He brings us an extensive track record together with a wealth of experience and knowledge. He will play a key role in developing existing franchise agreements, driving continuous improvement in our business and overseeing the strategic development of our product ranges.”

Commenting on his appointment, Iain Taylor said, “I've long been an admirer of Anglia and the way it strives to supply an elite range of complementary products and solutions to the industry. I’m pleased to be a part of the team and have the opportunity to apply my skills to ensuring that we successfully integrate Anglia’s supplier profile and promote this to the market.”

Iain Taylor started his career in the industry in the late 1970’s, and has worked in various roles in electronics manufacturing and franchise distribution. He holds a purchasing degree and is a MCIPS (Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply).
