The organisers of
CEM 2011 (The 10th international conference on emissions monitoring) have announced that
Professor Josef Vejvoda is to give the keynote lecture at this year's event, which will take place at the Corinthia Hotel in Prague (CZ) from 5th to 7th October.
Professor Vejvoda has had a long and distinguished career in source emissions monitoring and control, beginning as a researcher at the Fuel Research Institute in Prague, after which he became head of the Air Pollution Control section at the Czech Republic Ministry of Environment. More recently, he was Associate Professor at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague, lecturing in air pollution control.
Comprised of a Conference and an International Exhibition, CEM 2011 is the latest in a series of European events focusing on developments in measurement techniques, environmental legislation and standardisation relevant to the source emissions monitoring of atmospheric pollutants.
Delegates will be provided with the latest help and guidance on European regulations and will have an opportunity to meet around 40 of the world's leading emissions monitoring technology manufacturers.
