B. Braun has installed Werum’s PAS-X system at one more of its sites, its production facility in Sempach, (CH). In Sempach, PAS-X will be used to optimize the manufacturing of liquids, and will also operate in explosion-proof areas. The success of earlier PAS-X installations at B. Braun’s Berlin site, and at two of its plants in Melsungen, substantially influenced the company’s decision to opt once again for Werum’s PAS-X suite.
Werum’s PAS-X manufacturing execution system (MES) will replace a legacy weighing and dispensing system and will provide additional functions for recipe management and execution, as well as for generating electronic manufacturing reports. Apart from supporting „Right First Time” manufacturing, PAS-X will make a further contribution towards optimizing the efficiency, quality and compliance of B. Braun’s production processes.
