New from RDP Electronics is a range of combined pressure and temperature sensors, the RST0170 Series, that will prove beneficial in a number of industrial and HVAC measurement applications.
The advantage of being able to make both temperature and pressure measurements in fluids or gases via a single orifice provides a convenient facility for use in engine management, pump, boiler and furnace control, as well as HVAC applications such as chillers and compressors.
The RST0170 is compactly housed in a welded stainless steel casing and provides accurate measurement in ranges to 15,000 PSI and standard operating temperatures from -50ºC to +148ºC, with options to extend the range from -195ºC to +232ºC. Transducers are available in absolute, sealed gauge or true gauge zero pressure reference with a choice of RTD or thermocouple for temperature measurement. There is a selection of measurement probes ranging from 9.5mm to 101.6mm. These combination pressure and temperature transducers are designed for long term stability, low sensitivity to shock and vibration, wide compensated temperature range, excellent response to transient pressures and infinite resolution.
