Xiaowei will lead and develop the China P&S sales team in supporting customers in these key markets, delivering orders and sales objectives as part of Servomex China’s Five-Year Strategy, growing the direct sales business, and co-operating with channel partners.
The holder of a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Xiaowei previously worked for Air Liquide for 13 years, starting as a Management Trainee in their Electronics division and rising to the post of Senior Commercial Manager, where he led a team of more than 20 members.
Kevin’s new role will see him work closely with Servomex’s worldwide P&S experts, global and local sales teams, and other Servomex Business Development Managers. He will apply his industry and sales experiences, product and application knowledge to support Servomex’s profitable and sustainable long-term business growth.
Based at Servomex’s Shanghai Business Center, both men will report to the China Business Unit Director Michael Xie. He said: “I’m delighted to welcome Xiaowei into the Servomex team and wish him every success. He brings with him many years of experience in creating business leads and opportunities, setting sales strategies, managing negotiations, and agreeing contracts for the electronics industry, especially in semiconductors.
“The skills he has developed will benefit our customers as he assists them in finding the right solutions for their individual applications.
“I would also like to congratulate Kevin on his new role. His contribution and leadership in the last two years have seen our P&S business in China experience significant growth and maintain a good upward trend.
“In this important and swiftly changing market, Servomex needs to look forward, ensuring we are on the pulse of market developments, especially in high purity gas applications. Kevin’s contribution will play a major part in ensuring we accomplish that.”
