The Executive Board of the International Society of Automation (ISA) has decided to sell the building that currently houses ISA Headquarters and transition to a more modern, efficient space just a few miles away in North Carolina USA.
The Society considered these priorities when making the decision:
- ISA’s need to right-size and modernize a headquarters collaboration and training space
- ISA’s desire to divest an underutilized asset and avoid future major expenditures in capital and remodeling costs
- ISA’s opportunity to use the space for local section meetings and alliance partners’ needs
The new headquarters will be a multi-use leased space with areas for teams to collaborate, rooms for meetings and training sessions, and warehouse space for inventory and storage. It is hoped to complete the move in early 2022.
