Werum IT Solutions has appointed
Robert Perks as Vice President of its American operation, Werum IT Solutions America. In this role, Mr. Perks will direct Werum America’s team of project managers and engineers, working to ensure the successful implementation of Werum’s best-in-class MES solutions.

Mr. Perks has worked for major pharmaceutical and plant manufacturers for 20 years, and brings world class management experience in the life sciences, as well as deep knowledge of the medical devices field. He has extensive experience in designing and implementing manufacturing projects, from simple out-of-the-box solutions to complex, fully-integrated systems. His technical acumen, strong customer focus, and extensive global program management experience round out his comprehensive project management expertise.
He is co-chair of the ISPE Community of Practice for
"PAT & Lifecycle Control Strategy” and has given presentations concerning innovation, quality and compliance improvements at pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities at both ISPE and PDA annual and regional meetings. Before joining Werum, he spent 13 years in management positions at Baxter Healthcare Corporation, where he planned, developed and implemented automation and MES systems at the company’s sites in North and South America.
