Coolant temperature sensors.

Amphenol Coolant Temperature Sensors (CTS) are now available from Inelco Hunter. The sensors are lightweight with a compact design, offering IP67 ingress protection and fast response times. Applications will include the monitoring of battery coolant, HVAC refrigerant, gear box oil, inverter coolant, fuel cells etc.

The Coolant Temperature Sensors are USCAR compliant, offered in either a zinc-plated or 1 316L stainless-steel housing. The operating temperature is -40°C to 100°C and the response time is 5 seconds within a range of 25°C to 85°C in water. The resistance at 25°C is 2,828Ω ± 1.3% and the temperature accuracy is ± 0.3°C.

The connector material is PBT-GF15 and the O-ring material is HNBR. The connector is USCAR 064 Sealed (IP67) per USCAR 064-S-002-1-A02. The overall length is 48mm with a 12mm screw thread. Mating connectors are Molex 3140X-2100 or Aptiv 54390239.

The brand-new range of Amphenol CONEC M8 circular connectors and sockets with rapid, safe and secure snap or screw/snap terminations is now available from Inalco Hunter.

In order to save time and provide ease of maintenance, the connectors can be quickly and easily plugged onto sockets, sensors and actuators without any further work or tools needed. Where installation space is tight, the snap connectors can be easily mounted using angled or straight cable outlets. The compact locking system is secure and complies with protection class IP67 with up to six poles. They are available in standardised codings of A and B for signal transmission.

The sockets are available in different configurations with up to eight poles. Variants are available for both front and rear panel mounting. In a mated condition, the system offers an IP67/69K rating, enabling immersion in water to a depth of 1.8M for one hour.

The ecomate® Aquarius™ connectors incorporate the latest technology, offering a high-impact, thermoplastic design, with the advantages of a lightweight, lower-cost, sealed connector system. Connector and Cable Solutions for EV Applications.

Inelco Hunter has announced the availability of Amphenol’s complete range of EV connectors and cables, designed to meet Electric Vehicle applications, from charging to motor control and power distribution. The Amphenol EV range includes power connectors, signal connectors, rugged cables and complete cable harnesses. The Electric Vehicle market is developing at a very rapid rate (a worldwide increase of 58% from 2016 to 2017), and Amphenol has invested heavily in the development of rugged, high-quality connector and cable solutions, powered by their own patented RADSOK® Technology.

RADSOK® Technology uses a flat stamped grid, twisted into a hyperbolic geometry to provide highly-reliable socket contact with unique characteristics. The key benefits are higher amperages within smaller envelopes combined with higher current ratings. The hyperbolic geometry also provides a highly-reliable connection with a low insertion force. The end-result is a rugged connector providing high durability and long life.

RS Components has considerably expanded its Amphenol connector portfolio. The introduction of 650 new devices has expanded the total Amphenol range available from RS to over 9,000 products available direct from stock for next-day-delivery.

The enhanced connector portfolio includes medical, military, renewable energy, industrial, data and audio technologies creating one of the broadest ranges of Amphenol products held in-stock for electronic design engineers. The range expansion includes 127 new D-Sub connectors, Alden Pulse-Lok connectors designed for the medical industry, Helios connectors suitable for
renewable energy applications and is complemented by a range of connectors developed for harsh environments and industrial purposes.

The full Amphenol range is available in both RS standard package and industry-standard packaging formats, ready for direct insertion into automated production facilities. All products are supplied in flexible quantities allowing customers to order the quantity they need and avoid unnecessary stock-holding costs.
