New CEO for network association.

Reiner Zitzmann (41) has been appointed as CEO of CAN in Automation (CiA) GmbH. He will manage jointly with Holger Zeltwanger (64)  for about one year after which Zeltwanger will retire.

Zitzmann has worked since 2004 as Technical Manager in the commercial subsidiary of the nonprofit CiA association. He edits CANopen specifications, trains engineers in CAN technology, and represents the association in standardization bodies and on conferences.

He has managed the CiA seminars and CiA technical working groups since 2008.
