Iain has represented his constituency since 2010. Following the appointment of the new Prime Minister, Theresa May, Iain was moved to the newly formed Department for International Trade as the PPS to Rt. Hon Dr Liam Fox MP. The UKIVA Machine Vision Conference and Exhibition will provide an excellent vehicle for international trade and will highlight the buoyancy in the British vision market less than a year after the uncertainty that accompanied the ‘Brexit’ vote.

With keynote addresses from leading household brands Dyson Ltd and Ocado Technology, and a main program featuring 56 seminars across 7 different presentation theatres, the Conference will provide visitors with plenty of opportunity to explore the multitude of ways that vision technology has relevance to everyday life. The program has something for everyone with themes including ‘Understanding vision basics’ through to ‘Systems and applications’ and ‘Vision innovations’.

This comprehensive program is supported by an exhibition of the latest vision technology and services by 57 of the leading companies from the world of vision, co-located with the presentation theatre area. This convenient layout makes it easy for visitors to switch between the seminar sessions and exhibition according to their own personal schedule. This format also provides excellent opportunities for networking between presenters, exhibitors and other visitors.
