Instrument Training Course for Galway.

GRETB Training Centre run a 10-week full-time day course in Basic Instrumentation commencing March 2017. The course will be held in their Galway (IRL) Training Centre.

Participants will learn how to install and calibrate process monitoring devices. They will compile a portfolio of calibrations throughout the course which will form part of the final exam. Successful Learners will receive City & Guilds certification.

The course consists of: • Induction to the course & training centre. • Basic Electronics. • Basic Pressure. • Basic Level. • Basic Flow. • Basic Temperature.

Their past learners have found work in a wide range of Industries or have gone on to serve Instrument Technician Apprenticeships.

Entry requirements: 
Applicants will need a Craft Certificate in either Electrical, Fitting, Plumbing, or Mechanical trades, or alternatively a third level Engineering qualification.
