Recently RTÉ News (The Irish State broadcasting body) covered the €60 million expansion of the
Coillte Smartply Facility in Belview Port, Waterford (IRL). Read-out has learned that
Pilz Ireland are the lead H&S consultants for this project which is currently the largest industrial construction/manufacturing expansion project in the country.

With an equipment spend of over €35 million which Pilz Ireland are also involved in for Design Stage Compliance Assessments, as well as the remaining budget which will be spent on the construction of a 9000 sq.m factory extension with all civil, mechanical, electrical services and significant Automation of Plant and Equipment this is a project which shows the breadth of knowledge, expertise and capacity within our building.
Pilz's lead engineer is
Jack Collins, who with his strong background in construction and experience in more recent years in Machinery Safety upgrade projects with Pilz, made him the ideal candidate for leading this project supported by our in-house Consultants and Administration.
