The FDT Group will hold an FDT® technology training seminar on Tuesday, 11 December 2012 in Cork (IRL) and on Thursday 13 December 2012 in Manchester (GB).
This seminar will focus on the underlying terminology and technology of the FDT standard (IEC 62453) showcasing its value for commissioning, operating, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining networked process and factory automation applications. The event features keynote presentations by industry experts as well as live interoperability demonstrations by sponsoring companies including CodeWrights, Pepperl+Fuchs, Rotork, Schneider Electric, VEGA and Yokogawa. A wide variety of process and factory automation applications deployed on various automation networks will be showcased in the live demonstration area.
Engineers, instrument technicians, maintenance technicians, and network specialists wishing to learn more about the underlying technology, operation, benefits, and availability of FDT enabled DCS, PLC, and asset management systems are encouraged to attend. The seminar is offered at no charge but advanced registration is requested. The event begins at 9:30 and will conclude by 17:00.
A complimentary lunch will be served.
Immediately following the seminar, attendees are invited to attend a visit of the Jameson’s distillery in Middleton (Cork) or the Manchester United Stadium.
