The Peak Group has introduced a PXI-based test desk that provides an integrated framework for PXI based instrumentation, receiver interfacing based on VPC (Virginia Panel Corporation) mass interconnect modules, and the associated mains distribution and safety circuitry and interlocks.
Designed for use in production test environments, the basic test desk structure incorporates a 19-inch instrument rack with slides, mains distribution and safety circuit box, mains sequencing unit, fully configured back panel, inlet and exhaust fan set, E-stop and door interlock set, and wiring for an earth star point.
Also included is a VPC receiver interface (from 6- to 18-slot configuration) plus modules and contacts through which PXI instrumentation, power-supply units and pneumatic controls can be connected.
The PXI test desk can be supplied complete with an industrial PC or PXI controller, a 19-inch flat screen monitor fitted to a monitor arm, keyboard, mouse and bar code reader.
The Peak Group is an Alliance Member with National Instruments (NI), the leading developers of PXI test interface technology, and is also the UK distributor for Virginia Panel Corporation, the top international supplier of mass interconnect technology for automatic test systems.
