Konrad Technologies has completed the acquisition of V I Engineering. This acquisition provides Konrad with two strategic attributes to enable the acceleration of the expansion of Konrad capacity to serve the North American market for automated test solutions; industry acknowledged expertise in the National Instruments toolchains & platforms and local access to the vibrant technology hub in Detroit focused on Autonomous Driving and Electric Vehicles.
Dave Loadman, President & CEO of Konrad Technologies, Inc., stated that “as a result of our accelerating success in providing automated test solutions to the Automotive, Consumer Electronics and Medical Devices industries we were faced with a decision as to how to efficiently and quickly scale our operations to best serve our customers. In considering possible acquisition candidates it became obvious that the best and only choice was VI Engineering. Given our success in providing validation and manufacturing test solutions for ADAS related technologies, having a local presence in Detroit is an absolute requirement. As our turn-key automated solutions are based on the National Instruments platform, we are excited to add a world class development team with decades of LabVIEW™ experience and PXI knowledge. Most importantly, we are pleased to have Diane Tibbs (formerly President of V I Engineering) join the executive management team at Konrad Technologies, Inc. as our COO. Diane brings an operations and business acumen to Konrad that is necessary for us to achieve profitable growth at scale.”
Diane Tibbs, President of V I Engineering stated that “Konrad Technologies perfectly aligns with our cultural values and industry focus and provides our team with the global footprint and value-added solution portfolio to drive significant disruption to the North American market. I am confident that our employees and customers are in good hands by joining the Konrad team. Customers both existing and new will continue to receive the high level of service and satisfaction V I Engineering has become known to deliver. Both our customers and employees are in good hands with Konrad team, it is an exciting move for both companies.”.
