“Dream Report is all we do and Dream Report receives major enhancements with each release,” Roy Kok, VP Sales and Marketing of Ocean Data Systems told Read-out Signpost. “Connectivity is a clear differentiator in our product and each release delivers additional connectivity. However, this release was primarily focused on the support for large applications with concurrent development requirements. Dream Report addresses this additional market segment quite well, without adding complexity to the small applications market.”
Dream Report version 4.8 continues to expand its target market, adding large corporate installations to the mix. These environments require one or more Dream Report servers with the ability to support remote and concurrent development. By default, a Dream Report server will now support a local or remote developer. Additional development CALs are available to facilitate multiple concurrent developers complete with check-out and check-in functionality, version management and audit trails.
Additional enhancements include NEW support for Wonderware Online InSight, enhanced GE SmartSignal and GE Historian Drivers, enhanced Alarm Filters improve ISA 18.2 reporting, and numerous other enhancements improve flexibility and usability.
