The Siemens Industry Automation Division is extending its pressure transmitter portfolio to include devices with fixed measurement ranges. The Sitrans P200/P210/ P220 is ideally suited for applications involving defined measurement ranges in the process industries. These compact devices can be quickly integrated into an existing process, and feature a handy plug-in connection for rapid commissioning. This transducer series is aimed predominantly at machine builders, system suppliers to the process industries and also the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry.
The new instrument is suitable both for relative and absolute pressure measurement, and covers measurement ranges from 100 millibar up to 600 bar.
With a negligible end value measurement error of just 0.25%, these transmitters respond with the utmost precision to process changes. This consistently high level of measurement accuracy coupled with good overload resistance (up to 4 times the measurement range) makes for a highly diverse application scope – particularly in fields such as refrigeration technology, power engineering and hydraulics. Versions are available with oil-filled measuring cell and stainless steel diaphragm, as well as with abrasionproof ceramic diaphragm. Fully welded measuring cells without internal sealing are offered for high-pressure applications. The transmitters come with an array of process and electrical connections, making them adaptable to a wide range of different mounting situations.
As these measurement transmitters are typically connected to automation systems, operating and monitoring elements have been dispensed with. Siemens PressurT
