Service technician.

Developer and manufacturer of technologies seeks technician to help detect floods, make solar power more efficient, protect the environment, and ultimately save lives.

Following growth in the OTT HydroMet business in Britain, they are seeking a new service technician to add to their team there.

OTT HydroMet’s Service Technicians are the custodians of the company’s long-standing customer relationships. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the Senior Field Service Technicians, both in the field and the workshop. This role has direct customer contact as well as high visibility and exposure to all departments in the organisation. The medium to long-term goal for this role will be to reach a comfort level to work independently in the field.

This position will be based at OTT’s Sheffield (GB) facility, with 70% - 80% travel to customer sites. Most travel will be local day trips, but some may require an overnight stay.

Applicants must have completed studies or technician training, preferably in the field of electrical engineering, information and communication technology, or hydrometry/ meteorology.
