Learning interfacing between enterprise and control systems.

The Ireland ISA Section in conjunction with ISA Europe have organised a training course in the ISA-95 standard. The course will be held in Cork 25th - 26th September 2014.

ISA-95 is an international standard for developing an automated interface between enterprise and control systems. This standard has been developed for global manufacturers. It was developed to be applied in all industries, and in all sorts of processes, like batch processes, continuous and repetitive processes.

The objectives of ISA-95 are to provide consistent terminology that is a foundation for supplier and manufacturer communications, provide consistent information models, and to provide consistent operations models which is a foundation for clarifying application functionality and how information is to be used.

The course will cover:
  • Standards and Models: ISA95 Standard | MESA International Model
  • Business Processes - The business logistics processes that interface to manufacturing control: procurement - product cost accounting - product inventory control – maintenance - production planning and scheduling
  • Production Processes: production – reporting – monitoring - operations planning - process support engineering
  • Information Model: Product definition information | Product capability information | Production information, segments, requests, rules, and responses | How to use the models to document integration requirements
Course fee is €1195,00 and the number of attendees is limited (First come, First served basis)! Participants will receive all training materials, the printed ISA-95 standards for every participant (value of €650,00) and ISA certificate for every participant.
