Industrial Artificial Intelligence in pharma and life science.

Seeq has announced that it is collaborating with Cognizant, an AiBuilder and technology services provider, to help life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturers move faster from data to action. By combining Seeq’s advanced industrial Aiand analytics with Cognizant’s advisory, implementation, delivery, and change management capabilities, the companies intend to help customers scale manufacturing analytics and performance improvement across lines and sites.

Cognizant brings extensive experience delivering industrial and life sciences solutions for global manufacturing organisations. Its teams support customers as they advance digital transformation, build data infrastructure, strengthen operational intelligence, and implement solutions that translate strategy into measurable plant-level outcomes.

Launching with Cognizant as a lead collaborator, Seeq’s Operational Efficiency and OEE Industry Solution empowers life sciences manufacturers to move from site-specific OEE dashboards and point reports to standardised, scalable performance management across lines and sites. Rather than stopping at visibility and reporting on what is happening, Seeq delivers insight into why it is happening, bringing together asset, process, scheduling, and execution data to provide a more complete view of operations.

Together, Seeq and Cognizant aim to support pharmaceutical and life sciences manufacturers as they improve how teams investigate process behavior, monitor performance, and scale analytics across sites. The collaboration brings together Seeq’s advanced Aiand analytics platform with Cognizant’s advisory, implementation, and change management capabilities to help customers operationalise use cases such as Continued Process Verification, (CPV), Overall Equipment Effectiveness, (OEE), and broader manufacturing analytics.

“At Seeq, we believe the greatest value comes from empowering subject matter experts to understand their processes more deeply, uncover the insights that matter, and turn insights into faster decisions and actions at enterprise scale,” said Dr. Lisa Graham, CEO of Seeq. “Our collaboration with Cognizant begins in life sciences and pharma, where the need is immediate and the opportunity is clear, and creates a strong foundation to help manufacturers across many industries move faster from industrial Aiand analytics to measurable business impact.”

For regulated pharmaceutical environments, Seeq for Pharma is purpose-built for GMP-regulated operations and includes capabilities designed to support customers’ efforts to meet applicable 21 CFR Part 11 requirements. These capabilities may help customers simplify aspects of compliance, validation, and change control by supporting auditability, controlled change management, and data integrity in regulated operations. Customers remain responsible for validating their specific configurations, processes, and intended uses.

“Operational efficiency is a major opportunity in the pharmaceuticals industry, yet too many teams still rely on fragmented reporting and local OEE view,” said Paolo Braiuca, Industry Leader for Pharma and Life Sciences at Seeq. “Together with Cognizant, we can help customers scale a more connected, pharma-ready approach to performance improvement across regulated operations.”

While the joint effort begins with life sciences and pharmaceuticals, Seeq and Cognizant see opportunities to explore additional industries over time, including complex manufacturing environments where operational data can support faster decisions, improved quality and performance.

Best workplace!

Annual list recognises businesses that set the standard for workplace success and awards excellence in company culture.

Seeq has been named to Inc.’s 2026 Best Workplaces list. The list, available at Inc.com, honors American companies that have built exceptional workplaces and vibrant cultures that support their teams and businesses, whether in-person, remote, or hybrid. The award recognizes standouts among hundreds of applicants, each of which are comprehensively measured and evaluated in numerous categories.

The process involved a detailed employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace that covered critical elements, including management effectiveness, perks, professional development, and overall company culture. Each company’s benefits were also audited to determine the overall score, and Seeq is honored to be included among the companies recognized this year.

“Our people are at the heart of everything we do at Seeq, and being recognized by Inc. as one of the Best Workplaces reflects the culture they have helped create,” said Dr. Lisa Graham, CEO of Seeq. “We are committed to fostering an environment where employees are empowered to do meaningful work, grow together, and bring their expertise to solving manufacturing's most complex challenges. That commitment to teamwork helps employees feel supported and connected, while giving them the flexibility to thrive professionally and personally.”

Seeq creates industrial AI and decision intelligence solutions that enable organizations to turn industrial data into faster, better decisions that drive enterprise-wide outcomes. By amplifying human expertise with AI, Seeq delivers actionable operational insights and creates decision traceability that enables engineers, operators, and business leaders to improve reliability, optimize performance, increase productivity, and advance more sustainable operations.

Step forward in the fast-moving Industrial Ai ecosystem.

Bridging industrial Ai and human expertise for smarter operational decisions.

Ushering in the era of intelligence-led operations, Seeq Intelligence has just been unveiled as an  Ai package  from SEEQ. This creates comprehensive, Ai-driven decision intelligence infusing confidence, clarity, and velocity into every operational decision, unlocking breakthrough operational and business performance at enterprise scale.

SEEQ Intelligence
Industrial organisations face growing complexity, increasing talent loss, and critical expertise that is locked in siloed systems and individual experience, making it more challenging to improve performance, create consistency, and build competitive advantage.

Seeq Intelligence empowers organisations to make decisions at the speed and scale needed to accelerate and sustain advantage. By applying advanced Ai to contextualised real-time operational data, institutional knowledge, domain expertise, prior actions, and decision history, Seeq Intelligence creates a powerful engine for high velocity decisions that drive measurable gains in efficiency, margins, and sustainable performance.

Designed to amplify the creativity and intuition of subject matter experts and infuse that invaluable—and previously impossible to scale—expertise into an organisation’s operational DNA, Seeq Intelligence becomes a driver of transformation. It surfaces unseen opportunities, elevates high-impact decisions, and guides actions that improve daily execution and strategic long-term outcomes. By creating a comprehensive and connected view of manufacturing operations, enriched with accumulated experience, Seeq Intelligence becomes a continuously evolving system of learning and improvement, helping teams address current and future challenges, driving more confident decisions at every level of the enterprise.

Seeq Intelligence introduces advanced agentic Ai capabilities to operational decision-making, including:
Agent Q, a premium natural language, domain‑aware Ai analyst that delivers rapid, comprehensive decision intelligence, which deepens operational understanding, answers complex questions, reveals hidden insights, and unlocks operational and business breakthroughs. It quickly assembles diverse, unstructured information and expertise—historical operational events, prior analyses, past actions, documents, and know‑how—into coherent investigations, traceable intelligence, and prioritised recommended actions.

  • Build Your Own Agent, which allows Seeq users to create custom Ai agents that execute multistep workflows on demand, or on schedules and triggers, by orchestrating data retrieval, analytics, and reporting steps to produce repeatable outputs such as reports, summaries, and automated actions.
  • Agent Extensibility, which enables secure agent-to-agent connections between Seeq Ai agents and customer systems and information. This allows users to not only retrieve additional, highly relevant, and up-to‑date context—such as recent data windows or work orders—but also to initiate workflows and automate actions across those systems. By providing richer context and enabling closed-loop automation directly within the Seeq interface, Agent Extensibility reduces context switching and supports faster, more comprehensive decision making.
  • Document Access that enables the extraction and synthesis of information from unstructured and semi‑structured documents into actionable and contextualised intelligence. It searches, reads, contextualises, and interprets documentation to support Q&A and produces summaries of procedures, reports, manuals, and past analyses.

“Seeq Intelligence represents a step change in how industrial companies create value,” said Mark Derbecker, Chief Product Officer at Seeq. “By synthesising context, history, and irreplaceable domain expertise with patented advanced Ai, we’re giving organisations a continuously learning system that sharpens decision making and accelerates operational transformation. It’s about helping customers compete — and win — in a world where speed, insight, and adaptability define future leaders.”

“Seeq Intelligence is a notable step forward in the fast-moving Industrial Ai ecosystem,” said Matthew Littlefield, President and Research Lead at LNS Research. “Agent Q can reach across the broad stack of operational technologies, incorporate the expertise and context contained in Seeq, and provide the agentic layer needed to change the speed, quality, and strategic priority of decisions.”

It includes all capabilities in the Seeq Enterprise package, with the addition of the new agent capabilities, and is available now.

Front runner in industrial artificial Intelligence (Ai).

Seeq has been named a Front Runner within the inaugural Industrial AI: Advanced Analytics Solution Selection Matrix (SSM) by LNS Research. The company was recognised as a market leader for its category-leading product innovation, human-centered approach, partner-friendly architecture, and exceptional customer focus.

LNS Research, a leading research and advisory firm for the world's largest industrial companies, evaluated seven key vendors within the rapidly evolving Advanced Analytics providers category of the Industrial AI: Advanced Analytics market. This category includes software applications that offer decision intelligence capabilities, primarily through pre-built out-of-the-box applications. These vendors provide data collection, analysis, machine learning modeling, and visualisation functionalities as part of their application(s), and they support several industrial use case categories.

Seeq received high marks for its comprehensive data connectivity, quality, cleansing, conditioning, and contextualisation tools; support of different analytics levels; enablement of robust machine learning modeling; diversity of use cases supported; and more. The report also highlights Seeq’s focus on championing subject matter experts within end-user organisations, keeping humans central to all decision-making and amplifying their domain expertise with industrial analytics and AI capabilities.*

Seeq’s deep customer understanding and responsiveness was also emphasised. According to LNS Research, “a defining strength of Seeq is its customer-centric product roadmap strategy. In addition to actively listening and collaborating with its user base, many Seeq employees across departments come from industry, enabling Seeq to align its roadmap with identified gaps and industry needs. A key example is the introduction of its AI Assistant and extensive training resources, aimed at addressing the relatively steep learning curve highlighted by customers. Another recent example is the release of the GxP-ready Seeq for Pharma Analytics & AI Suite, developed specifically in response to customer requirements for validated environments.”

LNS Research underscored Seeq’s customer-driven roadmap further, stating: “Seeq’s dedicated focus on meeting the specific needs of process experts has earned it a loyal user base and following—a rarity in industrial software. Engineers incorporating Seeq into their day-to-day work report improved productivity and find it less incentivised to revert to traditional spreadsheet-based analysis. This stickiness has been a strategic asset for the company, with power users effectively serving as its champions and playing a key role in Seeq’s sustained leadership in this category.”

“We are honoured to be recognised by LNS Research for our leadership in the industrial analytics and AI market,” said Dr. Lisa Graham, CEO of Seeq. “This recognition validates the progress we’re making alongside key partners to generate measurable value from industrial analytics and AI for manufacturing organisations around the globe.”

LNS Research used the "3P Evaluation Model" covering vendors' Product, Potential, and Presence to assess their ability to serve the Industrial AI: Advanced Analytics market.

"This accomplishment represents another significant milestone in Seeq’s ongoing leadership in the industrial analytics and AI market. It builds on a series of prestigious honours, including being named a Leader in the 2025 Verdantix Green Quadrant for Industrial AI Analytics, the 2025 Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Leader for the Global Advanced Industrial Analytics Market, and earning the 2025 IoT Analytics Innovation Award from the IoT Breakthrough Awards. Expert-driven insights for accelerated value across the enterprise.

The launch of the an Industrial Enterprise Monitoring Suite, the Seeq Vantage, Seeq's first industrial enterprise monitoring app, was announced at the company's global industry conference, Conneqt 2024, in Miami (FL USA).

Today’s industrial operations face numerous enterprise-level reliability, performance, and sustainability challenges, which are difficult to systematically identify, prioritize and correct to maximize operational potential. With siloed teams and information, and limited visibility to historical knowledge and insights from previous operations and events, it can be challenging for organizations to achieve measurable impact.

The Seeq Industrial Enterprise Monitoring Suite provides a comprehensive, automated view into operational performance—past and present. This broader view enables better decision making and continuous improvement across today’s complex, industrial ecosystems. The Seeq Industrial Enterprise Monitoring Suite leverages the combined power of the Seeq Industrial Analytics and AI Suite and the context that only teams of experts can provide—all at the scale needed to drive truly impactful results across the operational footprint.

This Industrial Enterprise Monitoring Suite provides the flexibility, speed, and robust capabilities needed to operationalize a condition-based prioritization and decision strategy. Grounded in frontline expertise and insights, Seeq Industrial Enterprise Monitoring helps ensure decision-makers have key insights at their fingertips, allowing for faster, better decisions and actions.

“Industrial Enterprise Monitoring builds upon and elevates the Seeq mission to enable the creation of the insights that empower decisions and actions that increase operational excellence, drive sustainable manufacturing and, ultimately, the customer’s bottom line,” said Mark Derbecker, Chief Product Officer of Seeq. “We’ve always known that the people across the organization are the secret ingredient, and Industrial Enterprise Monitoring enables a company to turn local insights and expertise into a powerful system-wide advantage.”

Through the Seeq Vantage app, industrial organizations can tailor, deploy and automate enterprise-level use cases, such as asset and process monitoring, condition-based maintenance, reliability and downtime tracking and more. Coupled with the Seeq Industrial Analytics and AI Suite, customers now have an integrated ecosystem to capture, analyze, aggregate, monitor, triage, investigate, and document insights and actions at the local level and the enterprise level. The app provides proactive and automated enterprise surveillance for daily operational decisions, and comprehensive assembly of operational effectiveness and utilization understanding to prioritize longer-term investment decisions.

"Seeq empowers industrial organizations by turning their expert knowledge into a strategic asset," said Niels Andersen, Principal Research Analyst at LNS Research. "The Seeq Vantage app significantly enhances their enterprise monitoring and AI capabilities."

Seeq Vantage is scheduled for general release in June 2024 and was showcased at Conneqt earlier this month (May 2024)

Themed “Unleash,” Conneqt 2024  brought together Seeq customers, partners, and other industry experts for interactive sessions examining how industrial organizations can unleash the power of their operational data and people with industrial analytics and AI.

“Conneqt provides a collaborative environment for the Seeq community to exchange ideas, data-driven insights, and industrial expertise,” declared  Dr. Lisa Graham, CEO at Seeq. “By leveraging the insights gained at Conneqt, along with the latest innovations in industrial analytics and AI, Seeq customers can unleash digital transformation outcomes across their organizations to enhance operational excellence and profitability.”

A generative AI resource.

The Seeq AI Assistant is a generative AI resource (GenAI) provides real-time assistance to users across the enterprise, empowering them to accelerate mastery of the Seeq platform, build advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI skills and knowledge, and accelerate insights to improve decision making in pursuit of operational excellence and sustainability.

In a recent study by Deloitte, 93% of industrial companies believe AI will be a game changer for driving growth and innovation in the industrial sector. The analytical insights required to bolster operational excellence continue encountering roadblocks due to a shortage of skills, siloed capabilities within organizations, and untapped stockpiles of time series data.

Seeq has over a decade of experience working with some of the most recognizable names in the oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and other industrial sectors to remove or mitigate these roadblocks. The Seeq AI Assistant provides organizations with the opportunity to further debottleneck their most precious resource – the people at the frontlines of their processes and decisions.

GenAI is a type of artificial intelligence capable of generating new content, such as text, images, and code in response to prompts entered by a user. GenAI models are trained with existing data to learn patterns that enable the creation of new content. While GenAI is a powerful technology, it isn’t innately capable of generating information and guidance applicable within the complexity and context of an industrial production environment.

Seeq is uniquely positioned to drive industrial innovation with GenAI, given the company’s expertise in industrial data and its open and extensible analytics platform that was developed to leverage and serve subject matter experts and their enterprise decisions. Seeq provides on-demand access to critical time series data, data contextualization capabilities, and established intellectual property. Utilizing the extensive body of advanced analytics, data science, machine learning and coding knowledge held in Seeq technical documentation and its knowledge base, Seeq is operationalizing the power of GenAI for its customers. Combining these competencies with prompt engineering curated by the world-class analytics and learning engineers at Seeq, the Seeq AI assistant generates accurate and actionable suggestions for analytical approaches and techniques, code generation and more. Seeq also supports multiple providers and LLMs for organizational flexibility.

“With the Seeq AI Assistant, we expect to decrease our process experts’ learning curve for advanced analytics and machine learning by 50% or possibly more,” said Brian Scallan, Director of Continuous Improvement at Ascend Performance Materials. “For our extensive user base, this translates into immediate enhancements in process quality and yields, significantly elevating efficiency and value across the organization.”

“By combining GenAI with advanced industrial analytics, organizations can unlock new levels of efficiency, accuracy, and innovation that deliver measurable business impact,” said Dustin Johnson, Chief Technology Officer at Seeq. “Integrating the Seeq AI Assistant across the Seeq platform enables team members across industrial organizations to harness the power of GenAI to drive favorable operational excellence, profitability, workforce upskilling, and sustainability outcomes and stay ahead in an increasingly competitive landscape.”

Basically it empowers frontline experts in process engineering, data science and operations to rapidly bridge process, analytics and coding knowledge gaps, unlocking workflows and results that were previously time and effort prohibitive or impossible.

“GenAI capabilities are a powerful inclusion in analytics software as a way to democratize AI and machine learning,” said Jonathan Lang, Research Director for IDC Industry Operations. “Based on conversations with industrial enterprises, GenAI offers a more natural interface to lower the barriers to data analytics, and Seeq has included features to alleviate one of the top concerns companies have about trust by including explainability to ensure the GenAI ‘shows its work.’”
