Security certification confirmed!

The remote management solution, eWON Argos, from HMS Industrial Networks, is now ISECOM STAR security certified.

The eWON Argos Product Manager, Anders Stålheden comments: “We are very proud to have successfully passed the ISECOM STAR security certification, and we are committed to continue with regular security assessments to ensure that we provide the highest possible security to protect our customers.”

The eWON Argos remote management service is an important part of the eWON remote solutions from HMS Industrial Networks. Argos offers users a secure monitoring and control to field equipment via eWON Netbiter gateways. Accordingly, Argos is regularly tested by independent companies to maintain a high security level in today’s fast-evolving technology environment.

Argos has become ISECOM STAR certified after passing an assessment performed by the company admeritia GmbH, a vendor-independent German cybersecurity company specialized in IT Security assessment (ethical hacking) and KPI-based security measurement. The assessment was done through an OSSTMM 3.0 and OWASP audit process which included penetration tests of Argos targeting the cloud-based infrastructure.
