Test tools with price reductions while stocks last!

While stocks last at Fluke authorised distributors, as part of the celebrations of its 70th year Fluke is reducing the recommended sale price of two key maintenance test and measurement tools with a saving of around 20% until the 1st of October 2018.

The CAT IV 600V, CAT III 1000V safety-rated Fluke 376 FC clamp meter offers advanced troubleshooting performance to capture a wide range of measurements with a single tool, including:

• Proprietary in-rush measurement technology to filter out noise and capture motor starting current exactly as the circuit protection sees it

• Integrated variable frequency drive low pass filter for accurate motor drive measurements

• True-rms voltage and current for accurate measurements on non-linear signals

• 500mV DC measurement range to interface with other accessories

• Expanded measurement range to 2500A AC with the included Fluke iFlex flexible current probe, which provide access to large conductors in tight spaces.
The offer includes the Fluke 87V Industrial Multimeter, which provides accurate measurements on adjustable speed motor drives and other electrically noisy equipment, and the Fluke Connect® compatible 376 FC Clamp Meter, which can troubleshoot intermittent faults with logging and wireless data transmission capabilities for real time collaboration with colleagues away from the field.

The Fluke 87V DMM has the measurement functions, troubleshooting features, resolution and accuracy to solve many problems associated with motor drives, and plant automation, power distribution and electro-mechanical equipment. It is engineered to withstand voltage spikes of 8kV and to help protect users against the hazards of arc flash. It includes a plug-in Fluke 80BK temperature probe, which can be used to easily check whether overheating is involved in a system breakdown.

For ‘noisy’ equipment, such as Adjustable Speed Drives (ASDs), the Fluke 87V features an innovative button that introduces a low pass filter. ASDs adjust the speed of AC motors using pulse width modulation: this tends to generate a very noisy, or ‘chopped’ signal. Other DMMs may indicate a voltage higher than the actual supplied voltage, and frequency measurements may be erratic. Troubleshooting confusion is removed as the 87V can block unwanted high frequencies to provide accurate and stable measurements of AC voltage and frequency (to calculate motor rpm).

The Fluke Connect-enabled 376 FC Clamp Meter logs measurements to pinpoint intermittent faults precisely without the need for the technician to be present. Those measurements are then wirelessly transmitted to the Fluke Connect app on smartphones or tablets and automatically uploaded to the cloud, keeping technicians outside the arc flash zone and away from dangerous moving machinery, thus improving safety.
