Non-domestic gas installation in Ireland.

​The Non-Domestic Installation Gas Market from January 2019 will now be regulated by the Commission for Regulation of Utilities [CRU]. The RGII who over the years have brought the Gas Domestic Industry to the highest and safest standards it is today and will now be in charge of the licensing scheme for Registered Gas Installers for Non-Domestic Gas Works.

To date, any competent person could work in the Non Domestic Gas Industry without specific training or registration. Now anyone working in the Non Domestic Gas market must be certified and registered with the RGII in 2019 or may face legal repercussions .

New man in mechanical division.

Martin Ralph has joined the Hanley Controls sales team in Clonmel (Irl). He is to specialise in their Mechanical Division representing Pneumatics/Vacuum and associated products in which he has great experience in his field and we hope that he enjoys working with us at Hanleys.

Before joining HCL he was was with a pneumatic sales and distribution company for over 29 years which gave him vast and wide experience.

He said that his aims are "To grow, develop and expand my product knowledge, to increase Hanley Controls presence within the market place. To increase our customer base with Hanley controls with our customer services team."
He particularly enjoys, "Meeting new people and going out visiting customers. Also the staff at Hanley Controls - they are very approachable and there is always help at hand."

Martin coaches under 10 and under 14 soccer and he also plays golf and enjoys DIY.

Heading for Data Centres event!

The utilities department of Hanley Controls Clonmel have signed up to exhibit at Data Centres Ireland Exhibition & Conference in November at the RDS in Dublin. They intend to showcase the following: Nobel Fire Suppression , IGD Gas Detection and Water Leak & Humidity Detection Systems.

DataCentres Ireland is in it’s Sixth year this year and combines both a dedicated exhibition and an adjacent multi-streamed conference, giving attendees access to the latest in information, best practice, products, services and solutions. The Conference is an opportunity to hear the latest in ideas, best practice and case studies presented by leading industry experts and part in facilitated discussions.
