Dual Range Pressure Calibrator for use in classified environments.

Fluke has introduced a new ‘Ex’ Dual Range Pressure Calibrator for use in classified environments, offering ranges, accuracies and capabilities that make it ideal for gas custody transfer measurements.

The new Fluke 721Ex, with IECEx and Atex Ex ia IIB T3 Gb (Zone 1) ratings, is available in 14 models and can be used with a Fluke 720RTD probe for temperature measurement. Fluke has also introduced 700 series pressure test hose and pump kits which minimise the difficulty and leaks when connecting a pressure calibrator or pump to a device under test. Their quick installation, without the use of tools, increases efficiency, saving time and money. These pressure accessories are a best-in-class set of premium hose and No Tools Required (NTR) pressure connection accessories.

The rugged Fluke 721Ex Dual Range Pressure Calibrator, featuring two isolated, stainless steel, pressure sensors with accuracies to ±0.025% Full Scale, provides measurement of static pressure, difference in pressure and (optional) temperature of gas flow. The Fluke 721Ex is configured by choosing either a 1.1bar or 2.48bar low-pressure sensor, together with one from seven high-pressure ranges, including 6.9, 20, 24.5, 69, 103.4, 200, or 345 bar. The large backlit display will show two pressure readings and a temperature reading simultaneously. Up to five frequently used setups can be stored.

Fluke 700 Pressure Calibration Test Kits introduce a new family of pressure connection accessories to make the difficult task of making pneumatic and hydraulic pressure test connections easy and leak free. This family of accessories includes two special transmitter test hoses, the TTH5K and the TTH10K, providing No Tools Required connections between hand pumps or pressure transmitter to the standard IEC ¼" female input on most pressure transmitters worldwide. The 700MTH test hose is similar to the 700TTH but has a ¼" male metric hose termination rather than the ¼" NPT male connection. The 700M20TH is intended for connection to female Chinese M20 process connections.

The new 700PTPK2 Pneumatic Test Pressure Kit and 700HTPK2 Hydraulic Test Pressure Kit are premium versions of the standard 700PTPK and 700HTPK and add premium test hoses and a NTR connection to easily attach and remove 700G test gauges or other devices with ¼" NPT male terminations.

The Fluke 721Ex is supplied with a soft case offering storage for an RTD probe.

Temperature & pressure calibration!

New Fluke temperature calibrators and pressure calibration modules

Fluke has introduced two new high-accuracy Temperature Calibrators, the Fluke 712B and 714B, plus the new Fluke 750P series of Pressure Calibration Modules. The 712B RTD Temperature Calibrator offers simulation and measurement of 13 different RTD sensor types plus resistance, the 714B TC Temperature Calibrator offers simulation and measurement of 17 different thermocouple sensor types plus mV, while the 750P Series offers 48 pressure calibration modules.

The rugged 712B and 714B Temperature Calibrators are designed as easy-to-use, high accuracy instruments and come with a magnetic hanging strap, to free up both hands during testing, as well as a 3 year warranty. They can source/simulate temperature sensors to apply to process instruments, indicators, chart recorders and other devices. Offering dual inputs and bright, dual-reading, backlit displays, they provide easy interpretation of measurements. The temperature calibrators measure 4mA to 20mA signals while simultaneously sourcing a temperature signal. They offer configurable 0% and 100% source settings for quick 25% linearity checks, and a linear output ramp and 25% step auto ramp based on 0% and 100% settings. Power-down settings are remembered at power-up for easy restart of tests.

The 750P Pressure Calibration Modules offer a complete family of 48 pressure modules covering gauge, differential or absolute pressure calibrations from 2.5mBar to 690Bar, ideal for use with Fluke 750x / 74x Series Documenting Process Calibrators or Fluke 725 / 726 Multifunction Process Calibrators to measure pressure. Each module is clearly labeled for range, overpressure and media compatibility. All modules include NPT, metric (BSP) and M20

Temperature calibrators

Eurolec Instrumentation Ltd have extended their CS range of compact, cost effective temperature calibration sources.

Accompanying the existing combined black body/probe models, CS173, 174 & 175 calibration sources, the NEW CS350 & CS650 dry block calibrators offer users the option for in-house probe thermometer accuracy checks from 30°C up to 350°C & 650°C respectively.

Both models have a total of 12 probes holes (to the front & rear of the units) & each can display C or F.

Units will operate off 100 - 240 V. An RS232 output is standard & there is an option for USB output.

Compact and weighing no more than 6Kg, the CS350 & CS650 represents a very competitively priced option for higher temperature thermometer accuracy verification and when used in conjunction with e.g. the Eurolec RT162 precision reference thermometer, a very accurate, easy to use and cost saving alternative to external system calibration certification is provided – an ideal system to comply with quality standards such as ISO9001.

The CS350 & CS650 temperature calibration sources complement the existing Eurolec range of portable thermometers, probes, infrared thermometers and manometers.

• Established in 1998, Eurolec who are also the agents for Grant Instruments, Testo Ltd, Ono Sokki (UK & Ireland), T&D and Brainchild supply to a wide range of sectors throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond.
