Weather in Mars!

Vaisala has just published a new video describing the robotic weather station aboard NASA’s Perseverance rover, which is currently conducting investigations on the planet Mars. 

The video features Jose Antonio Rodriguez Manfredi, MEDA (Mars environmental dynamic analyzer) Principal Investigator, who explains how the instrumentation is characterising, monitoring and studying atmospheric dynamics on Mars. This information, he explains, will be essential in the preparation for future human visits – helping to design astronaut suits for example.
