GNSS Antenna.

Septentrio has announced AntaRx-Si3. This is the first GNSS1/INS (Inertial Navigation System) Smart Antenna on the market in an ultra-rugged enclosure, designed for easy installation on machines such as agriculture robots. AntaRx-Si3 is the new member of the family of receivers leveraging FUSE+, which is designed to answer the need for position availability in tough industrial environments where GNSS signal reception may be temporarily compromised, such as under foliage. The IMU sensor in FUSE+ also improves positioning integrity2 and reliability, which is critical for autonomous systems.

“With AntaRx-Si3 you get a receiver delivering positioning information with a high level of availability and integrity, that you can install with minimal effort. This is especially beneficial for after-market upgrades. It also allows removal of this valuable component at the end of the day to protect against theft or vandalism,” commented Danilo Sabbatini, Product Manager of GNSS/INS at Septentrio.


The AntaRx-Si3 smart antenna is robust inside and out. It is designed to be mounted outside on a machine for operation in harsh environments out in the field. Enclosed in an impact resistant polycarbonate IP69K housing it can handle high levels of shocks and vibrations. This multi-frequency receiver delivers Septentrio’s field proven high-accuracy RTK positioning down to the centimeter level. AntaRx-Si3 has a built-in 4G cell modem, so there is no need for additional modem integration to acquire high-accuracy corrections.


AntaRx-Si3 leverages Septentrio’s GNSS+ algorithms with advanced multipath mitigation, which allows uninterrupted operation in environments where satellite signals could be reflected off nearby machinery or high structures such as silos. It delivers positioning at a high update rate and low latency, which are critical for control loops in autonomous movement or rotation.

2 Integrity is the measure of how truthful the positioning information really is. It gives an idea about the accuracy of the position so that one can make a judgement on how much to rely on the positioning under current conditions. For example, the current positioning may be temporarily less accurate than desired, under certain challenging conditions, such as near high structures which block GNSS satellites. Integrity information conveys the extent of accuracy degradation so the user can factor that in.

Smart antenna for machine automation.

A high-performance GPS/GNSS receiver and an antenna in a single ruggedised housing offers multiple communications options.

A new smart antenna, ideal for machine automation and control in construction, precision agriculture and logistics has been announced by Septentrio. The AntaRx smart antenna is robust inside and out. Enclosed in a ruggedized housing, it can handle high levels of shocks and vibrations and is ready for operation in harsh industrial environments. 


Built on their long standing GNSS* experience, this multi-frequency receiver delivers high-accuracy RTK positioning down to the centimeter level. Antennas for the next generation.

Cellmax new 12- and 8t-port platforms ,1207xx and 1209xx, further enhance CellMax world record efficiency levels and allows for more than 18 dBi on the low band and up to 21.6 dBi on the midband.The first release of these new products goes from 698 to 2690 MHz and will later be released to support both L-band and 600.

Reine Eriksson has been appointed as the new CEO of CellMax Technologies AB*, as of February 1st , 2022.

Portfolios of external and embedded antennas added to component range.

A new partnership with Taoglas, a leading provider of next-generation IoT solutions has been announced by Anglia Components. New resource for sensors and components.

Mouser Electronics and TE Connectivity (TE) have partnered to create a new content platform devoted to TE’s newest resources, products, and technical insights.

The new site from Mouser and TE offers a comprehensive, continually updated archive of infographics, videos, and technical articles, providing valuable insights into some of the most challenging aspects of connected automobile and smart home design. The platform is launching with more than 50 pieces of content, covering technologies including antennas, sensors, Internet of Things devices, and medical solutions. Each article include links to relevant TE products, connecting usable information from industry experts to the technologies and solutions needed to support each application.

Field cable and antenna analyser.

The ultraportable Site Master™ S331P, from Anritsu, is the lightest, smallest, fastest and most cost-efficient Site Master field cable and antenna analyzer ever developed. Addressing the market need for broad frequency coverage and high performance in an extremely compact and economical design, the S331P provides wireless operators and contractors, DAS installers, and public safety network installers and maintenance professionals with the first pocket-sized headless cable and antenna analyzer that can measure the new LTE-U frequencies.

Two models covering 150 kHz to 4 GHz and 150 kHz to 6 GHz are available. This unique wide bandwidth capability establishes the S331P as the only ultraportable cable and antenna analyzer that can support low frequency radio communications environments, including public safety networks, as well as higher frequency applications, such as LTE-U in the 5 GHz unlicensed spectrum. Software tools (HHST), easyTest Tools™ and the award-winning SkyBridge Tools™ cloud-based trace management solution. Users can view a fast preview of stored sweeps, as well as edit, rename and archive sweeps, and quickly generate PDF or HTML reports using LST software. The Site Master S331P uses the standard *.dat sweep file format and is compatible with HHST, which is widely used by mobile operators, making the solution compatible with most standard workflow procedures.

easyTest Tools and SkyBridge Tools simplify the testing processes to the DAS installation workflow by enabling reliable and quick creation of test plans, fast and accurate testing, and assisting in report creation.
