Dr Alex Grigoriev, Senior Research Scientist from TeknoScan in Canada will deliver a seminar entitled 'Detecting Threats in Cargo', at this year’s Counter Terror Expo which takes place at London Olympia on 19th and 20th April.
Dr Grigoriev, who is a guest of instrumentation specialist Quantitech (Stand 020), will cover topics such as sample preparation and how multi-stage analysis can reduce false alarms. The seminar will take place at 2.05pm on 19th April and Dr Grigoriev will also be available on the Quantitech stand to demonstrate the technology.
Last year Quantitech signed an agreement with TeknoScan to introduce the highly advanced TSI-3000 banned substance trace detection system to the Brotish market. This technology, along with the Gasmet DX4030 multi-gas analyser will be demonstrated by Quantitech staff at the company’s stand.
Dr Grigoriev has been directly involved in the development of the TSI-3000 and has considerable research experience in the field of trace detection applied to cargo.
