Industrial spectrometer.

Process Insights has expanded its industrial mass spectrometer range with the new Extrel MAX300-RTG 2.0 with touchscreen for process applications.

Chuck DeCarlo, Business Development Manager at Process Insights, states: “The MAX300-RTG 2.0 from Extrel offers continuous real-time analysis for process control. Our industry-leading mass spectrometers are backed by over four decades of excellence in industrial automation and our customers have come to rely on the rugged stability and ease-of-use they provide for continuous operation in challenging manufacturing environments."

With the ability to report the complete stream composition and multi-port stream selector for up to 160 samples, the MAX300-RTG 2.0 offers fast analysis for a range of industries including oil refineries, syngas plants, polymer plants, renewable gas, steel, pharmaceuticals, and government/university laboratories.

The MAX300-RTG 2.0 features an integrated customizable 15” touch screen display and user-friendly GUI interface making it very easy to use with minimal training. It has the speed necessary to analyze the total composition of a sample in seconds and can be fully automated to measure several points in a process, or multiple production lines, with a single analyzer.

Through reduced operating costs due to low maintenance and utility requirements, a lower capital cost compared to other technologies and fast online gas analysis for increased manufacturing efficiency, product yield, and equipment uptime, the MAX300-RGT 2.0 provides consistent, ongoing return on investment (ROI).

Combustion optimization oxygen gas analyzer.

A new, compact process, in-situ gas analyzer from Process Insights, measuring both combustibles (COe) and oxygen (O2), provides fast, optimal combustion control for many applications like refining and petrochemical, power, and steam generation, and in furnace and kilns.

Combined with improved sensors, superior design and better combustion performance, the COSA Xentaur O2CX gives our customers continuous, reliable gas measurements with greater accuracy and lower maintenance costs."

The COSA Xentaur O2CX allows the process to operate safely with a lower excess air ratio, which translates into higher fuel efficiencies. With greater accuracy and sensitivity below 10% O2, the O2CX doesn?t require dilution air, unlike others. Measuring combustible gas components, oxygen and COe, reliably minimizes safety issues. Measuring in-situ directly has many advantages and is ideal for process heaters, steam boilers, thermal oxidizers, and furnace optimization.

In addition, installation and service is easy, as the flow guidance tube design allows the sensors to be located near to the back of the transmitter, making for service and maintenance without the need to remove the entire assembly from the stack. The probe provides for both direct and continuous dual readings of oxygen and COe.

The COSA Xentaur O2CX is also versatile for various mounting requirements or difficult applications, including high temperature, dust, or hazardous installations.

Texas centre serving process industry.

Process Insights has opened a new facility in Houston (TX USA), to better support its customers, distributors, contractors, and suppliers with improved delivery times, as well as on-site engineering, application consulting and process control solutions.

“Our new Center of Excellence in Houston, Texas, represents a very important milestone in the expansion of our manufacturing and logistics capabilities,” said Scott Fleishner, EVP & GM, for Process Insights Americas. “We are committed to exceeding the expectations of our customers and channel partners every day and offer technologies known for their breakthrough performance.”

This new Center of Excellence, supported by a COSA Xentaur manufacturing facility, will allow Process Insights to ensure better delivery times for high-tech instrumentation and state-of-the-art moisture measurement systems, as well as to showcase a world-class suite of gas, water, and liquid analysis solutions.

Supporting process industries including petrochemical, energy, environmental, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, laboratory, chemical, agriculture, and wastewater, the Center provides an array of customer-centric resources and expertise. A full-access demonstration suite, training and other services combine to deliver new technologies critical to keeping process plants up and running efficiently and safely with minimal unplanned downtime.

Service to process industry completely changed.
