Environmental presence in ASIA.

ENVEA has acquired Kenvitech, one of the oldest and largest environmental monitoring companies in South Korea. The business offers distribution and maintenance servicing capabilities across a range of products including Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS), Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Systems (AQMS), Indoor Air Quality Monitoring Systems, Odour Monitoring Systems, and other Gas Emission monitoring systems.

This acquisition is an important development for ENVEA’s strategy in Asia, substantially expanding its presence and reach in the region.

Trevor Sands, CEO of ENVEA, said: “We are thrilled to announce our strategic acquisition of Kenvitech, a move that significantly bolsters our operations in Asia and enhances our environmental management offerings. Kenvitech brings a wealth of experience, supported by a strong leadership team and deeply rooted local expertise. This acquisition represents a crucial opportunity for ENVEA to accelerate our growth and expand our influence in the Asian market. We’re excited to bring the talented Kenvitech team on board as we continue to drive innovation and scale our global operations."

Cyril Bourdarot, Managing Director on the Carlyle Europe Technology Partners (CETP) advisory team, said: “Together with the acquisition of APAQ announced earlier this year, this acquisition expands ENVEA’s presence across Asia, a key market for the business due to the growing demand for environmental management solutions. It’s the sixth acquisition for the Group since 2020, further enhancing ENVEA’s position as a leading buy-and-build consolidation platform globally in the highly fragmented environmental monitoring and data processing space, a key part of ESG trends globally.”

Kim Il-Yong, CEO at Kenvitech, said: “My team is delighted to join forces with ENVEA whom we have known and worked with for years. We know the ENVEA’s team share our vision of creating a more sustainable world by providing world-class environmental management solutions. This transaction is a significant opportunity to leverage our respective expertise and resources and Kenvitech’s strong local presence in Korea to accelerate growth and innovation across the platform.”
