Water companies in Britain are seeking record funds to invest in water infrastructure. The relationship between wastewater and pollution is headlining the media on an almost daily basis. This ensures that this year’s WWEM event will be larger and busier than ever.
WWEM 2024 will take place on 9th and 10th of October at the NEC in Birmingham (GB), with the most exhibitors and most expansive conference program of any WWEM so far.
Focusing on the regulations, standards and methods that relate to water testing, monitoring, analysis and related services, WWEM 2024 has been designed to meet the needs of water sector professionals. These include, for example, regulators, consultants, instrumentation engineers, laboratory staff, process operators, researchers and interested stakeholders such as river trusts, lobbyists and citizen scientists.
With over 200 of the industry’s leading technology and service providers gathered in one place, there will no better opportunity to learn about the latest developments, discuss environmental monitoring challenges, and compare products through face-to-face interaction with water sector experts.
Beyond the exhibition floor, the conference schedule is fully packed with over 100 hours of free technical workshops and presentations delivered by regulators, researchers, citizen scientists and technicians from industry, including many of the major water companies. Visitors will be provided with access to a wide range of highly topical presentations, covering issues such as Environment Act Section 82 monitoring, digitalisation, compliance monitoring, flow, level and pressure monitoring, technology innovation, automation and environmental design.
Visitors to WWEM 2024 will also have access to AQE 2024, the air quality and emissions monitoring show, which will be co-located at the NEC.
