MAP suite announced!

A new generation of all-in-one software solutions: Measurement, Automation, and Platform Suite (MAPS) has been announced by ADLINK Technology. To improve process efficiency and shorten development time and effort, developers working with DAQ and PXI modules may immediately begin work with MAPS software packages such as their Connection Explorer (ACE), diagnostic tools, and easy-to-use testing utilities to analyze device functionality in one click. By continuously working with customers and engineers, ADLINK strives to make application development time faster, easier and more productive than ever.

“With nearly 25 years of global field experience, ADLINK’s expertise is evident through a full range of PXI platforms and more than 100 PC-based data acquisition modules for automation and testing support, analog input and output, load cell sensor measurement, digital I/O, relay outputs, and timer/counter boards.” says Tim Juan, Director of ADLINK's IoT Solutions and Technology. “By working continuously with customers and engineers in creating applications for testing and automation environments across all industries, ADLINK strives to make application development faster and easier.”

Faced with heavy deadlines to rapidly create solutions, measurement and automation developers are often hindered by a lack of crucial setup and development tools. After buying new systems and modules, engineers often spend hours visiting various websites to collect drivers, diagnostics, analysis tools, and documentation before even getting started on a project. ADLINK eliminates this bottleneck with its new Measurement, Automation, and Platform Suite (MAPS), an all-in-one software solution that may be used in conjunction with ADLINK’s DAQ and PXI modules.

MAPS software improves process efficiency and shortens development time for:

  • Test and Measurement and Automation Developers – ADLINK Connection Explorer (ACE) is a single quick-access screen for exploring and validating functionality for DAQ and PXI modules. No more back-and-forth searching to determine the root cause of an error installation.
  • Third-party PXI Module Developers – Engineers developing solutions with third-party PXI platforms from Keysight, National Instruments and other providers may now enjoy full device transparency with ADLINK Connection Explore (ACE). Conversely, users may view ADLINK PXI platform and modules on third-party interfaces such as NI-MAX and Keysight Connection Expert. Users can also use ADLINK DAQ modules on NI LabVIEW.
  • DAQ modules and PXI Chassis Developers – The MAPS toolset includes Soft Front Panel for DAQ modules users and ChassisWatch for developers using any ADLINK PXI chassis. Both offer easy-to-use testing utilities that analyze functionality in one click for seamless field and site deployment.

MAPS software also offers language-based SDKs needed for C/C++ and LabVIEW developers.

Two analysers launched!

AGC Instruments launches new MAP Analyser

AGC Instruments has launched the Map-Pak O2, the first analyser in its completely new product line of Modified Atmosphere Packaging Analysers.

Designed specifically for the Food Industry, the Map-Pak O2 measures the Oxygen content within gas flushed food packages. The measurement range is from 0% to 100% with accuracy of 0.1%. This lightweight portable analyzer has a wide variety features and couldn’t be easier to use.

Sample measurements and results are achieved within moments and the operator can
modify various features of the analyser to best suit his or her requirements.

Some of the benefits the Map-Pak O2 has to offer include: An easy operator interface, sharp display with backlight, up to 7 hour operation time and a built in database capable of storing up to 5,000 measurements.

AGC Instruments has decades of experience within the food gas analysis industry and as with all AGC Instruments products, quality and reliability are assured.

The Map-Pak will be available in CO2 and O2/CO2 formats in the very near future. AGC Instruments would also like to announce that it is looking for distributors for this product.

AGC launches new Total Hydrocarbon Gas Analyser

The company has also announced latest addition to their product offering with a newly designed Total Hydrocarbon Gas Analyser.
This new Gas Analyser represents the latest in digital and modern technology, and based on the Flame Ionisation Detector (FID) platform. Having evolved from the its well-known predecessor and now with improved analytical performance, a greater market is being targeted.

Utilising the finest tools available, the ease with which customers are able to achieve the best results has now been made easier.

This new and easy to use THC Analyser has an interactive touch screen display where all controls and results are easily brought to the operator’s attention.

Designed to continuously measure and monitor ppm/ppb concentrations of Hydrocarbons in a gas stream. A heated version is also available for those samples where temperature must remain elevated. With a wide target audience including Air Separation Units, to Industrial Gas Production Sites to the Petrochemical and Refinery markets, AGC are aiming to further their presence and influence on the market.

A wide range of detection down to < 30ppb is achievable with an Autoranging function, other features include standard 4-20mA outputs with alarm contacts, data logging over RS 232, plus the results can be read direct on the display or transmitted to the Control Room or the DCS. Also new to this model is the validation of all results.
