Mono displays.

A range of Monochrome LCDs for applications that do not require a colour display has been announced by Inelco Hunter. The advantages of a monochrome display are lower cost, lower power consumption and lower processing requirements. The Transflective type LCD screens combine low power with high brightness, making them suitable for sunlight-readable portable products.

 

Character LCD modules are available for 8x2,16x1, 16x2, 16x4, 20x4 and 40x2 format, in a standard or custom design solution. Graphic LCMs with controller ICs are available with the following resolutions: 120x32, 122x32,128x64, 240x64, 240x128, and 320x240. Chip on Glass (COG): Graphic displays with one-chip solutions and resolutions from 128x64, 128x128, 240x64, 240x128, 240x160, and 320x240.

Mono screens are deal for applications requiring a simple status display, including factory automation, industrial machinery, medical devices and commercial applications such as EV chargers, vending machines, IoT equipment and home appliances.
