Steve Leech is the new president of GAMBICA and will hold office for the next 2 years. He succeeds Huw Bevan as who served as President through the difficult period for trade incurred through BREXIT and complicated by the unanticipated pandemic.

Steve is the Business Manager for the Siemens DCS product business within Great Britain and Ireland. He joined Siemens in 2001 starting within the internal sales function. In 2005 he was promoted to Key Account Management within the Regional Sales team. He has been involved in Vertical Market development within the Energy from Waste sector, helping to define the Siemens market strategy. He became Product Manager for the Process Control Systems product business at Industry Automation with Product Management responsibility for the Siemens DCS platform. He now leads the Siemens Process Control Systems product business in Great Britain and Ireland, working alongside end users and solution partners within the key process market sectors of Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Energy from Waste and Oil & Gas.
He has been on the GAMBICA Management Board for some years representing Siemens on the Process Instrumentation and Control Council. The management board has been a great source of ideas and progress for the association down the years,
