Multinational changes Irish management team!

The Board of Siemens in Ireland have announced the appointments of Paul Lynam as Chief Executive Officer and Brian Flannery as Chief Financial Officer for the organisation in Ireland.

Mr. Lynam, formerly the CFO, replaces Dr. Werner Kruckow who has returned to Siemens Germany following the completion of his five year tenure in Ireland. Mr. Lynam will be responsible for the overall company strategy and market development for Siemens operations in Ireland. He has been working with Siemens since 2005 in the capacity of Commercial Manager, Energy & Transportation and as CFO since 2008. Having studied at DCU and UCD, he began his career in 1990 with the Smurfit Group where he worked until joining Siemens 15 years later.

Mr. Flannery previously held the position of Country Controller (Industry Sector) in Siemens Limited. Having completed a B.A. in Accounting & Finance, Brian qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte Ireland before moving to Deloitte and subsequently KPMG in Eastern Europe. He joined Siemens in 2001 as Commercial Manager, Energy & Transportation and took responsibility for HR from 2003 to 2008. He joins Paul Lynam on the Board of Siemens Limited (Dublin).
