Brennan Industries' CEO David D. Carr is celebrating 50 years of leadership and dedication in the fluid connectors industry.
Carr is the son-in-law of Brennan Industries founder, Michael Brennan, who founded the company in 1953. Brennan Industries is a third-generation, family-owned company with corporate headquarters in Solon, (OH US). Carr joined the company 50 years ago, and worked his way through the company holding various positions including president until 1983, when he was named chief executive officer.
He has shown dedication and leadership in the fluid power industry that is reflected by his strong support of the (US) National Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution (NAHAD) since the organization’s inception more than 25 years ago. He is renowned for setting the standard for NAHAD’s hospitality evenings.
In addition to the support and dedication Carr has shown the industry, he demonstrates the same spirit to his community. His philanthropic work on behalf of University Hospitals is tireless. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Carr showed great generosity and support in the relief efforts.
“My father is an incredible role model, who demonstrates honor, grace and spirit,” said David M. Carr, president of Brennan Industries, representing the third generation of family involvement.
